Maranda Country House is situated on three private acres, bordering Mount Eyre Vineyard and minutes from wonderful cellar doors and restaurants. Maranda is a five bedroom, four bathroom Australian colonial property with traditional bull nose verandah. Maranda Country House boasts a large refreshing swimming pool and a screened four person spa/hot tub as well as some of the best views in the Hunter Valley.
Maranda has polished timber floors, nine foot ceilings, a spacious lounge, a magnificent dining room with large table, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, a modern BBQ and two separate outside entertainment areas, all with panoramic views of the local vineyards, hills and ranges.
Maranda Country House is the perfect retreat all year around. You can kick back with your favorite wine and enjoy the ambience. If your group is large or small, Maranda will weave her magic and transport you to a place of peace and tranquility that you will find hard to leave.
The Accommodation
The accommodation comprises five bedrooms and four bathrooms. In the main house there is a queen bedroom with en-suite and a further two queen bedrooms and bathroom with both shower and bath. There is also a queen size hotel quality sofa-bed in the dining room which can be closed off from the living area.
Positioned 20 meters from the main house are two self contained studios. Studio ONE has a queen bed pus a double sofa bed (sleeps 3-4), an ensuite, TV, tea and coffee making facilities plus reverse cycle air-conditioning. Studio TWO is a large studio and consists of a king bed that can convert to two singles if required. It also has a queen size hotel quality sofa bed, separate toilet and shower room, reverse cycle air conditioning, a small kitchenette plus large plasma TV. We supply all fresh linen and towels. The property provides private comfortable accommodation for 6 to 16 people. (You are able to book Maranda Country house in the 4 bedroom configuration that will accommodate up to 10 guests for a discount)
At Maranda we provide absolutely everything you group could want with a huge 50 inch Plasma TV in the main room and a further 3 plasmas in the main bedroom and the studios. We provide Austar, free WIFI, a DVD a WIFI Sound System and book library and games. Maranda Country House is built for comfort all year round. The dining and lounge areas have large reverse cycle air-conditioning units, ceiling fans, plus a fan forced wood burning combustion fire. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and separate heating units for the winter months.
WHAT TO BRING
We provide all linen and towels. The kitchen is stocked with olive oil, coffee, tea and sugar plus fresh plunger coffee. We provide all cutlery, crockery, glassware and cooking pots and pans and all sorts of serving platters and bowls. You will find foil and cling film, kitchen towel and detergents. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand wash. We even throw in a good bottle of Hunter wine to make you feel at home.
Maranda Country House is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in the Hunter Valley. Leave all the work to us. We can arrange your complete Hunter Valley experience including fantastic wine tours, discounted golf at the best courses in the Hunter, Hot Air Balloon rides, Beauty Therapy and massage options and a full variety of catering and personal dining experiences. We can arrange special occasion cakes or even send a chef to cook and serve you a special meal at the property or just drop off freshly prepared meals or platters. Extra guests are charged at $95 per person per night. Children under 13 years are charged at $60 per child per night. Infants under 2 are free.
5 bedroom configuration (including Studio ONE and TWO) 6-16 guests
$1185 per night for up to 10 guests. Extra guests are charged at $95 per person per night. Children under 13 years are charged at $60 per child per night. Infants under 2 are free.

* Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas and New Year bookings must be for a minimum of 10 or more guests and are a minimum 3 night stay at full weekend rate. * Concert weekends must be a minimum of 10 or more guest.
