Our guests always love our easy, convenient city location on the edge of Battery Point as well as the unexpected extra touches that give you that \'home-away-from-home\' feel.
It is less than 10 minutes\' walk to the GPO, CBD, churches, hospitals, Parliament House, Visitor Information Centre, Constitution Dock, museums, galleries and Battery Point.
This is well-priced, clean, friendly, quality accommodation for the visitor in a fantastic handy location - when we say central, we really mean it!
We suggest you don\'t need a car for a few days when you\'re with us - so many things are within walking distance. Perfect for an easy, relaxing break.
The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (Pete\'s vegie patch) is just a 30 minute stroll away.
Accommodation:
Sunray has it\'s own \'home\' feel; a private, modern, clean, comfortable, non-smoking, 3 room studio apartment. It has one queen size bed. There is no further bedding available but there is no charge for an infant under 3 if sharing your bedding.
Inclusions:
Your rate includes initial tea and fresh coffee making facilities, personalised check in, late check out and early check in at no charge (if available) and linen. We have a free Restaurant Guide and advance Table Reservation Service for guests; we\'ll save you time and expense by finding the best places to dine from local experience. Breakfast supplies in your apartment can be arranged.
Facilities:
Whilst our building is listed amongst the Significant Architecture of Tasmania, behind the 40\'s art-deco facade is your modern, cozy, studio apartment in a convenient ground floor garden location.
You have your own kitchenette with facilities for light meal preparation. There is a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, frypan and steamer, crockery, cutlery and glassware. No oven or hotplate.
The bathroom has toilet, shower, hairdryer and heated towel rail.
The main room has an HD plasma TV, DVD player, CD player/radio, 2 seat lounge, heating, clock radio alarm and queen size bed with electric blankets and feather doona.
All linen supplied; apartment serviced regularly.
Laundry pickup/dropoff service is available; there is no laundry on-site but there are clothes lines and dryer onsite. Gyms, pools and internet facilities are a short distance away.
Value:
For less than the cost of a hotel room in this area you can have your own private little \"home\" near the waterfront, with all the personal touches a hotel doesn\'t give you.
Key collection by appointment - you will need to give us an approximate arrival time.
Parking:
There is ample street parking outside your unit - metered during business hours but free outside those times. We can valet park your car if you want to safely and conveniently park your car for a day or more when not in use. There is no off street or undercover parking.
