Cycling - the Bunurong Coastal Road is one of the most spectacular rides in Gippsland. The Bass Coast Rail Trail runs from Wongthaggi to Anderson roundabout via Kilcunda. Other rail trails close by in Gippsland
Bushwalking - great tracks all year around
Philip Island - around 30km from Cape with all its attractions including the seals, penguins and race track
Wilson's Prom - 100km to Tidal River, an easy day trip. Spectacular National Park, great walks and wildlife
Venus Bay - 40kmto the East, go see the roos off the Boat Ramp Road, humpback whales off No 1 beach, great birdlife
