Clifton Hill is an inner-city Melbourne suburb bordered by Fairfield, Collingwood, N Fitzroy & Kew. Clifton Hill is 4 kms from the CBD and is easily accessible from Tullamarine Freeway by car, taxi or bus.
Clifton Hill is a junction for two rail lines which means there is frequent trains every few minutes to and fro the city. A train journey to the city takes 8 minutes.

Beside Clifton Hill Railway Station there is a bus station - there are buses to Melbourne University, the Zoo, the Bay Beaches, MCG, and St Kilda.

Clifton Hill is only minutes from the Melbourne City Centre, Fitzroy, Collingwood, Hawthorn, Alphington, Kew, Richmond and Carlton.
Clifton Hill is a suburb of Melbourne and it is the City of Yarra. Clifton Hill is approx 4 kms north east of the Melb central business district.

Studley Park an extensive parkland which merges w ith the larger Yarr BendPark, contains Dights Falls and features a marvelous public golf course, sports grounds and areas of natural forest.
Cycling is a big attraction in this area and major off-road routes include Yarra River Trail, which runs through Clifton Hill, Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, Maribyrnong River Trail, Flemington Road, Dynon Road, Footscray Road, St Kilda Road.
Local Landmarks: Collingwood Children’s Farm -15 min walk from ParkSide , was established in 1979 by the local community with the support of the former City of Collingwood. GETTING IN AN OUT OF MLEBOURNE:

ParkSide is minutes to the entrance of the Eastern Freeway. The Eastern Freeway
connects Alexandra Parade and Hoddle St in the inner suburbs, with East Link tollway in Melbourne's east. It is three to five lanes in each direction, including an inbound "transit lane" reserved for vehicles with two or more occupants during peak hour.

Linking North and South: Hoddle St an urban highway runs beside Clifton Hill Railway Station is a major arterial road linking City Link and the Eastern Freeway.




LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Clifton Hill is 4 kms from Melbourne Central Business District (CBD). There is a bicycle track that runs through scenic bushlands, the Merri and Yarra Rivers past Dights Falls through Hawthorn, Richmond and finally ending at Flinders Street Station.
There are plenty of walking tracks and one can stop for a coffee at either Fairfield Boat House or Studley Park Boat House.
Canoeing is available from either of the two above boat houses.

Yarra Bend Golf Course is 5 minutes from ParkSide.

Other attractions are Sports & Recreational Centres, a wonderful outdoor 50 metre solar heated pool; at the Collingwood Leisure Centre apart from swimming in an indoor heated 25 metre pool there is the opportunity to do Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics, Gymnasium classes. There are plenty of masseurs in the area.

Fitzroy is 1.5 kms from Clifton Hill which is a mecca for cafes, wine bars, bookshops, boutique clothing as well as great 2nd outlets for e.g. Nike, Kathmandu and others.
