GUEST FEEDBACK:

April 2008 We had a fantastic time running around, running on the beach and passing out on the porch in our beds. We\'re coming back. Thankyou. Our owners had a relaxing time, many hours spent playing cards, games etc on the porch.
(Kismet, Sammie, Allie and parents)

April 2008 The kids loved the playhouse and the gardens. The house served our purpose very well. Good value for money.
(The M family and the S family from England)

Easter 2008 Relaxing and comfortable set up. Dogs x 2 loved large back yard and walks! Good to have areas to seperate (i.e. TV x 2, table tennis, art studio). Had great 2 weeks, even with scary enormous winds! (Narelle, Mark, Kylie, Gavin, Fiona and Margie) Great, wonderful house, had lots of fun, great art studio (Fi and Margie)

Feb 2008 What a fantastic house. And at such a great price! We had a relaxing weekend from the big smoke, comfortable easy living. (Cazz and Mark)

Jan 2008 What a great set-up for the kids-they loved the cubby house full of toys! We had a great time at the beach at the end of your street-sand and water are always great entertainment! 2 tvs is an added advantage. A lovely part of the world. Thankyou. (Nicola, Ross, Partick, Alex, Jade)

February 2007 We had a lovely week here. Very relaxing and a lovely secure garden for the dogs. The house has everything we needed. We loved the beaches and the location here, very quiet! Thankyou. (Jasmine, Zoe and Bessa)

February 2007 Perfect great location away from all the noise from the super bikes, a great escape for us \'umbrella girls\'. We fell in love with the beach, home, and Ventnor, thank you for having us in your home! We will be back! (Maggie and Sharon)

Summer 2007 We\'ve had a fantastic holiday. The house has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and the kids have enjoyed exploring the garden and art studio. Very special time had by all, thankyou, the house is very well suited for our family. (J.K)

November 2006 Thank you and we really enjoyed this house especially the beautiful garden, beautiful trees, backyard, the art room, a lot for the children to run around and play. Phillip Island is our first visit since we migrated here. May God bless you. With love (John, Elizabeth, Deborah, Samantha, John)

October 2006 Our family has just returned from a 12 night stay at the house and we wanted to say thank you. We found the house very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The kids (11 and 14) had a great time learning how to play table tennis and the dogs (2 Staffy girls) enjoyed having a big, secure back garden to run around in. Meanwhile, my husband and I enjoyed some relaxing times on the deck - loved that deck. We particularly appreciated you allowing us to have the dogs inside as they are very much a part of our family (and cry if locked out). Also having the dog run was great, as it meant we could get out and about without the girls. Thank you once again for a most enjoyable holiday break - for the whole family. (Sandy T)

April 2006 This is our first stay and we think it is fantastic! Great holiday feel, every amenity and facility we need and perfect location. Believe me - we will be back very soon. P family & Thai guests.

(Labour Day weekend 2006) We all enjoyed our long weekend here. The boys have enjoyed running around the yard, while we have loved sitting relaxing with a chilled glass on the top deck. (Gabrelle, John, Steven & Andrew)

October 2006 We loved it so much we had to come back! Great even the second time around. (Peter)
This house is so cool and I had so much fun on the table tennis table and Stewy loved it! (Lewy & Stewy)

Guest Reviews

  • "We were so happy with the house, very well equipped with everything you can think of, especially the kitchen. Nice short walk to the beach. Our 10 month old labrador loved exploring the big back yard and his mornings on the beach. Also very relaxing knowing that we could leave him for a couple of hours knowing that he couldn't get out. Hope to visit again soon"

  • "The whole environment at 'Adrift on Ventnor" was extremely peaceful and the property was beautiful.... the enclosed gardens were ideal especially for the dogs as well as the young adventurous children... the setup of the house was wonderfully warm and very inviting making you feel right at home.... And ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.... The children loved having their easter egg hunt in the backyard and thoroughly enjoyed themselves... as did the adults.... We will be back...."

  • "We really enjoyed our visit to Philip Island. The house was well located for all tourist attractions and lovely walks on dog friendly beach. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the quiet location. We enjoyed the yard and sitting on the back deck rocking on the swinging chair. Dogs had a good time collecting the ball in the back yard and our son enjoyed the table tennis."

  • "My older parents, husband, teenage son and dog all enjoy different things on our holidays and Adrift was perfect for all of us. The dog had a great beach to run and swim on, husband had some great bike rides, parents enjoyed the lovely verandah for reading and great TV for watching the tennis, the kitchen has everything you could want so we ate like kings. Great coffee shops and a farmers market for me, perfect waves at YCW for my son, comfortable beds for everyone...all made up for a great holiday...we'll be back."

  • "We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable and surprising cottage. Even though it rained on many of the days, just lounging around this warm, welcoming and well equipped house. We had a 5 year old and a dog and they both had enough to keep them occupied. We highly recommend this great place. "
