Guest Reviews

  • "An idealitic holiday location with lovely hosts. We had a most amazing and relaxing holiday and felt so lucky to be able to experience such a beautiful place."
    Nina, June 2009

  • "Paradise- "a place of extreme beauty, delight or happiness". Baku Beachouse is the only place I have ever been that truly lives up to this definition. The photos don't do it's natural beauty justice. And, in addition to the jaw dropping scenery, there is privacy that city dwellers can only imagine. I couldn't recommend going to stay with Peter and Sha highly enough!"
    Matt and Lauren, May 2009

  • "Does not get any better than this, I will be back, thanks for a great experience, Kym"

  • "Baku Beachhouse is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy North QLD. The facilities are of a high quality and the outlook is one of a kind. We have highly recommended it to our friends and are keen to come back for some more R n R!"

  • "absolute paradise! we can't wait to return next year. we would tell our friends but the less people that know about baku the better. this really is heaven on earth."
    Jacinta, November 2006

  • "Need to relax, unwind, do nothing much else but sleep, eat, and lay on the beach? Then this is the place for you. Welcome to paradise. Like the other comment mentions, make sure you stop for food & drink supplies before crossing the river. But once we arrived there, we didn't want to leave. Our dog Sophie also loved the place too! With pretty much the entire beach to ourselves and the beautiful grounds with coconut palms, what more could you ask for? We will definitely be back again within the next few years."
    Andrew, October 2006

  • "If you want comfortable accommodation with beautiful gardens, 5 star views, walks along the beach and tranquil time together then this is the place in the Daintree. Attentive hosts who respect your privacy but do all the little things, like light your path with candles when you come home late, to make you feel at home. Shah and Peter are very knowledgeable on the local area and always happy to help out. We are looking forward to a longer stay next time we go. To add to the ambience remember to pick up all your gourmet delights before you leave Mossman. We didn???t and found choices limited once you cross the Daintree River."
    Norman &Peta, October 2005
