  • "What a fabulous cottage, we had a great stay and was most enjoyable, they even turned on the snow for us! Thanks Helen. ps good for kids too."

  • "Our quilting group has stayed at many houses over the years and this has to be one of the best!!!! Where better to be in cold weather, than a quaint and charming cottage in Blackheath? We all love a period home and this exceeded our expectations. All our needs were met - comfy beds, fireplace, central heating, a large dining table and a wonderful continental breakfast on the first morning. The two bathrooms (and extra toilet in the laundry) was a bonus! Very clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this gem with us!!! S & B from Castle Hill. "
    Kylie, May 2010

  • "Arrived in freezing weather to find the house warm and welcoming with the fire lit, lights and music on, and sufficient provisions not to need to go immediately foraging for supplies - great!"
    Penelope, October 2008

  • "The Cottage was lovely and very well-equipped. The location was particulary handy as we walked into Blackheath on the Saturday night and had dinner at Vulcans - which is definately a restuarant I would recommend to anyone! It was a most enjoyable weekend and I would highly recommend the cottage."
    Amanda, July 2008

  • "What a lovely house! We had the best time. All that timber - mmmmmm!! Comfortable, toasty warm beds. Central heating not fabulous but it worked. Great, roomy kitchen. All was neat and clean and well-kept. Would have to give it 8 out of 10. Would book this again."
