RIVER SIDE ESCAPE
Relax on your own private sun drenched deck and watch the river come to life at work and at play.
The property is suitable for couples wanting that quiet time away.
The Escape is the self contained apartment area. The whole house is available for rental - speak to owner for more information and costs.
Explore the river in the runabout and swim or picnic at some of the secluded beaches along the shores.
Try your luck at fishing either in the boat or off the seawall at the property. You can cook your catch on the bbq or dine at one of the three local restaurants available here.
Bring your walking shoes and explore the bush and fauna on The Great North Walk which passes through Berowra Waters.
There are a couple of walks to choose from ranging from 60 minutes or 30 minutes depending on how fit you are or how much of the bush you want to see. Watch out for the locals either goannas, bush turkeys, lyre birds, sea eagles or kites to name just a few.
We all lead hectic lives and instead of getting all gussied up to go out to a restaurant why not let your host organise in house catering package(s) for you?
If you wish to pamper that special someone we can organise a bunch of red roses or mixed roses to be waiting at the accommodation on arrival with a card and notation.
In house catering packages are especially handy during your mid-week stay when most of the restaurants are having a rest after the busy weekend trade.

An easy to use runabout is available and no boat license is required. Maps and suggested trips are available or you can just putter along at your leisure. If you don't want to take the tinny there's a double kayak to explore the river on.
Restaurant transfers after hours require the Water Taxi service. Prices and contact details provided.

WE couldnt have picked a more beautiful location to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary. As I look out, the waters are so tranquil, the first morning craft slowly motors its way down to the marina. it is quiet. The sun is picking a path through the fluffy clouds and tree tops and it alights on our breakfast table. The mullet are jumping and there is a warm loving welcome to the day. You would almost believe you had died and arrived in God's beautiful earthy paradise. We have loved our stay, your graciousness, help and especially the loan of your magnificent home. 'My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night and after an extremely comfortable stay we woke to a breathtaking view across the river which also felt very private, and was a great start to married life!
Barbara was very friendly and even helped organise some roses in the room, which my wife loved.
