Description

Apsara House was built in the early 1900's and has the graciousness of a substantial house of that era. Of course it now has every modern convenience as well so that your stay will be as relaxed and delightful as possible.

The garden is full of classic cool-climate specimens and makes the house very private. There could be nothing better than to lunch on the terrace overlooking the changing colours of the trees.

The house has several large living areas plus roomy bedrooms. It is a perfect place for friends to gather and enjoy time together.

Cottage was comfortable and clean. Garden was very enjoyable to sit at the bottom of away from street traffic noise.

The house is absolutely lovely. Fantastic clean lines and wooden floorboards with unusual Asian furniture and artefacts. Very clean and full of home comforts such as fresh bread, home made jam, DVD player/DVDs. It felt like staying at a friend's house rather than an anonymous b&b. Don't forget to feed the chickens that come visiting in the morning. I would definitely return to Apsara and fully recommend it. Leura is about a 1km walk. We also tried Silks Brasserie and had a great dinner.
