Description

This beauifully appointed, absolutely private, self-contained, suite is situated on a unique 6 acre property in town. CREATURE COMFORTS B & B has a country aspect, just a few minutes from the post office, and promises some peaceful walks on the property as a nice finish to the day. We include treats to make this a special time for our customers, but a real surprise could be ROMANTIC WEEKEND GETAWAYS or an all important EXECUTIVE WEEKEND.
On arrival, you will find freshly baked cookies, chocolates, coffee ready to brew, quality teas and in the refrigerator, generous provisions for a hearty continental breakfast.

Enjoy the outdoors at the private Garden setting which is the entry to the Non-Smoking, Two roomed suite with King and Queen beds, fitted with fine linen and electric blankets, extra pillows, Bathgowns and Clock radios for your exclusive use. (maximum of 4). King room can convert to two King Singles should the need arise.

For your convenience we have a Private sitting room which has a Kitchenette, equipped with toaster, electric kettle, electric grill, large electric frypan, egg centre, coffee brewer, a full size refrigerator and Austar TV.
Internet connection is available.

We have books and magazines for you to read, CD's and videos to play, games, Tourist information pamphlets and Iron and board.

The Reverse cycle A/C provides overall climate control, and separate heating has been installed in the bedrooms. Plush carpet covers the inner floors.

The luxury Guest bathroom has all personal requirements and a hairdryer.

Arrangements can be made with us for a Bag Wash of clothes at the local laundry.

A GOLF DRIVING RANGE (short course) for use by adults

ENJOYABLE WALKS outside. Check out the circular Fish Pond, sit under the Willow by the dam. Relaxation at its optimum.

OUTSIDE ACCOMMODATION for Outside Pets ONLY. **
We have an enclosed animal run which allows us to care for your pets, should you wish to Bush Walk etc. or go out without them.
**Health Regulations exclude us from allowing pets inside our accommodation.

The Local Area

CREATURE COMFORTS is about 3 minutes from town or a pleasant 20 minute walk, which takes you over the railway line, past the Armidale Conservatorium of Music, the New England Regional Art Museum to Armidales two majestic Cathedrals.

A little further along, the Folk Museum and Art Gallery are in the Mall where you can enjoy the Cafes, the Cinema and extensive shopping.

The Visitors Centre runs a Heritage Bus Tour daily, but bookings are essential.

The University of New England is about 7 minutes drive and the Waterfalls and Gorges are as close as a half hour drive.

Some of our guests are attracted to the Trout fishing at Ebor, (during the Trout season) and the Trout Hatchery, which are both along the Coffs Harbour road.

Armidale is about 5 and a half hours from Sydney via Gloucester and the picturesque Barrington Tops, or Brisbane is about 6 hours drive.
