Our comfortably furnished two bedroom cottage has a prime position overlooking the 7th fairway of the Kangaroo Valley Golf & Country Resort. With spectacular views towards the towering cliffs of the escarpment and over the lake on the course, Blue Gums Cottage offers a unique escape. It will appeal both to golfers looking to step directly onto the fairway or those just after a beautiful and tranquil spot to re-charge the batteries.

As an added bonus enjoy the resort facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic areas and gas barbecues scattered around the property's 80 acres of natural bushland. The views down the valley from the property will simply take your breath away and in winter the early morning mists will re-vitalize and invigorate your senses.

We can accommodate up to 6 persons with bedding comprising Q/S in both main and second bedroom, where there are also 2 additional bunks. Kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is open plan leading onto the large deck with its expansive views. The cabin is supplied with crystal clear rainwater from its own tank and has split-system air-conditioning for comfort in all climates. There is everything you will need at Blue Gums Cottage for that special get-away as a couple, family or small group of friends.

Our current NOT-TO-BE-MISSED 1st morning full breakfast package includes a sumptious hamper for 2 of locally produced farm fresh eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, loaf of wood fired sour dough bread from the Berry bakery, local jam, butter, coffee (100% ground arabica beans with milk & sugar), loose leaf tea, organic herbal infusion tea and a litre of fresh juice (see photo in our gallery).

Our linen is freshly laundered cotton sheets and slips and fluffy white towels.

Kangaroo Valley

Kangaroo Valley is a picturesque, National Trust classified village, located 2 hours south of Sydney via the Princes Highway and Berry or inland via the M7 - M5 and Mittagong / Bowral. It is nestled between the mountain escarpments of the South Coast and Southern Highlands. A uniquely beautiful part of the state, the area is characterised by a patchwork of farms, rainforest, rivers and waterfalls. The valley is almost entirely surrounded by sheer sandstone cliffs. The village offers a treat of craft shops, good food and quaint tea rooms.

About 30 minutes to Bowral & Robertson & 15 minutes to Berry. Easy driving distance to the local wineries and the beautiful beaches of Jervis Bay.

Whether you are after more active pursuits such as golf at your front door, tennis, canoeing, swimming, bush-walking or simply want to take it easy with a good book and nice company, Blue Gums at the Kangaroo Valley Country Club has it. You can eat-in, enjoy a BBQ in the park-like grounds, drop by the golf club restaurant or take the short drive into Kangaroo Valley to enjoy any of the villages very fine restaurants or quaint country pub.

For breakfast you can pre-order a sumptious organic breakfast hamper of fresh farm produce & juices from Feast of Kangaroo Valley and enjoy it on the deck as you take in the magical views of the Kangaroo Valley escarpment. Or if you don't want to bother to cook yourselves, you can stroll down to the club house restaurant and have them do up a country breakfast for you.

The pristine beaches of Jervis Bay are just a 30-40 minutes drive or you have the resort pool and tennis courts at your door step.
