Riverside Apartments South Perth

This delightful 2 bedroom apartment is located on the South Perth Foreshore. There is nothing between the unit complex and the river but green grass!

The apartment has recently been totally renovated, it is fully furnished and equipped. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, 4 burner cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster and all crockery and kitchen utensils are provided. We have provided a table that accommodates six people.

The lounge area is comfortably furnished with a couch and 2 lounge chairs. There is a 68cm television, sound system and DVD player. We will provide you with a selection of DVD's for your enjoyment.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

We can provide a portacot and highchair if necessary.

The bathroom is pristine and modern. It is also equipped with washing machine and dryer. We also provide an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.

The apartment comes with a balcony which has river views from the side. There is a carbay allocated to the unit within the complex.

The apartment is accessed by one flight of stairs.

These prices are based on 2 people an extra $10 per person can apply depending on the season. Bookings of less than 14 days for 2 mths or more in advance are at the owners discrestion.

PAYMENTS

Payment can be made by direct debit into our nominated bank account or by cheque or cash.

We have an EFTPOS facility and also take Visa and Mastercard.

The apartment is located on the opposite side of the river to Perth CBD within 4 klms of the Perth CBD and within walking distance of Buswood Casino, cafes and restaurants. In addition, the park area on the foreshore has many gas barbecues that are just perfect for a summer evening of watching the sun go down, perhaps with a glass of wine or a an icy cold beer. The foreshore area is a popular spot for walkers and cyclists. The cycle path takes you to Kings Park, the Perth CBD, Perth Zoo, the ferry terminal, Herrison Island and Burswood Casino.

The apartment is also conveniently located for any visitors to Royal Perth Hospital or Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

The apartment is accessible to public transport both bus and ferry.

We also have a studio apartment in East Perth. This apartment is in a secure complex with a pool. It is self contained with a fully equiped kitchen, TV, DVD, sound system and bathroom with a bath as well as a shower. The rate is $75 - $100 per night depending on the time of year and length of stay. Weekly rates of $525 for bookings in excess of 1 month. Secure parking is available for an additional $5 per night.

This apartment has a dishwasher, digital flatscreened TV, DVD player and music server sound system. There is everything you could possibly need. WHERE IS THE APARTMENT

The apartment is located on the foreshore at South Perth. It is less than 10 minutes from the Domestic Airport and about 10.15 minutes from the International Airport.

A taxi will cost about $25-30 from the Domestic Airport and about $30-$35 from the International Airport.

There are also Hire Cars available at the airport or just ask us and we'll give you our opinion on who offers the cheapest rates.


HOW TO GET AROUND PERTH

South Perth is ideally situated, close to a variety of tourist attractions and the Perth CBD. The ferry terminal leaves from the Mends St Jetty, South Perth - approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The ferry travels back and forth between Mends St and Barrack St between 6.50am and 7.43pm on Sunday to Thursday and until 9.37pm on Friday and Saturdays.

The No 32A bus stops outside the apartment complex on Manning Tce. The bus deviates off the 32 bus route which is also within walkign distance of the apartment. The 32 bus services South Perth, Perth City, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, University of WA, West perth, Claremont, Cottesloe, East Perth, Fremantle, Mosman Park Nedlands, North Fremantle and Peppermint Grove

Perth also has a free transit zone services by 3 Central Area Transit (CAT) buses. The buses circum-navigate East Perth, The Perth CBD and West Perth continually every 5-10 minutes. The blue cat services runs until 1.00am on Saturday nights. The CAT buses area an excellent way to get around Perth.

Perth also has 4 railway lines, Perth to Joondalup, Perth to Fremantle, Perth to Armadale and Perth to Midland.


THINGS TO DO


VISIT THE FORESHORE OR KINGS PARK
Hire a bicycle and cycle the circular route around the foreshore (10klms round trip). This a beautiful and memorable way to see Perth. You can also cycle to famous Kings Park and do the tree top walk or have a meal in one of the restaurants or cafes.

JUST GO FOR CYCLE
Perth and Fremantle have an extensive network of cycle paths. You can cycle around Perth just about anywhere and not have to worry about the traffic. Bicycle helmets are compulsory in Western Australian

VISIT PERTH ZOO
The Perth Zoo is located at 20 Labouchere Rd, South Perth. This is accesible by pedestrian walkway, bus or cycle path. The Zoo is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm everyday of the year. The zoo has an excellent "Australian Walkabout" display, featuring an array of Australia's native wildlife and flora. There is also an Asian Rainforest and African Savannah display.

VISIT BURSWOOD CASINO
Burswood Casino is located on the foreshore at Burswood. The Casino has 9 restaurants, 6 bars, a nightclub, 24 hour casino, a theatre and golf course.

TAKE A RIVER CRUISE
Take a river cruise and enjoy the majestic beauty of the Swan River. There are a variety of cruises available from various operators including scenic cruises, luncheon cruises, evening dinner cruises and the very famous Swan River Wine Cruise where you visit the beautiful Swan River wine district - you can usually hear the wine cruises returning along the river in the late afternoon!

HIRE A CATAMARAN
Various catamarans are available for hire on the South Perth foreshore. This is a great way to enjoy the scenery of Perth from the Swan River. The hire company is located next to the cycle path on the foreshore at South Perth.

VISIT THE SWAN BELL TOWER
The swan bell tower is home to a variety of clocks, bells, sundials, telescopes and a complete working set of tubular bells. The swan bells include the twelve bells of St-Martin-in-the-Fields. Open from 10.00am daily. The entry fee for adults is $10 and $7 for concession holders.

The Bell Tower is located in Barrack Square on Riverside Drive, Perth. The blue CAT stops at Barrack St and the ferry service stops also stops from South Perth.
