EELAH BARN APARTMENT is situated on 70 picturesque and tranquil acres adjoining the Hunter River.
The apartment has been tastefully renovated blending the many heritage features with the conveniences of modern living. In the winter you can sit around the fireplace sampling some of the fine gourmet wines and products from this famous region.
Take a stroll around the 70 Acres or have a quiet picnic on the private river bank.
Perhaps you wish to Pamper Yourself with a Luxury In-House massage. (Relaxation of Remedial) This is by appointment only.
Suitable for a small groups, couples or individuals.
All linen is provided and changed weekly for longer stays.
The garden contains some magnificent old trees and an orchard. It sits peacefully in a picturesque rural environment.
WINE TOURS are available by prior arrangement.

Rustic living of a very high standard full of atmosphere and style.

A great long weekend, lots of room to move and a great outlook. The log fire at night with a couple of glasses of red and a few slices of cheese was extremely relaxing after a full day sight seeing. Plently to do each day and a wonderful place for relaxing in the evening.

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at Eelah and greatly enjoyed sitting on the verandah and watching the day fade away; and later relaxing in front of the open fire. We did try a walk down to the Hunter river but were unable to find a way down to the riverbank.

The acconmmodation was just as we like it - everything you need to feel at home, yet being spoilt at the same time. The host was amazing, nothing was too much for her. Location superb, close to town but definately in the country. Staying at Eelah was the highlight of out trip.

Our stay at Eelah was just wonderful. The decor and layout of the cottage was creative, well furnished and very comfortable. The view across the river is very relaxing, and the proprietor could not have been more helpful. The location is central to many local attractions such as Patterson and Morpeth and the Hunter region itself
