  • "The Monkerai School House is nothing short of excellent with it's old style charm and beautiful location. We loved the ambience and how well presented it was. The owners of this property have restored it beautifully and made sure it contains those comforts from home to make your stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend this accommodation for a short, medium or longer stay.Leonie and Phillip Miller, Newcastle"

  • " A great location to get away from it all. Everything you might need was provided for and we enjoyed the opportunity to take our dog who met up with some strange (and sometimes scary)farm animals that as a city dog, she'd never seen before."
    Gary, June 2008

  • "Very nice and clean. Watch for the black snake at the back in the afternoon when it comes for a drink. My little dog loved it, especially the dam. Mysti went for a swim several times a day. The State Forests are about 20mins drive away if you want to do some serious hiking with your dog or National Parks are not too far if you do not have a dog. Sitting on the back deck was the very best. Either watching the wildlife of the stars. "

  • "Fantastic! Extremely well appointed, private with perfect views and ambiance! Nothing to do but sit back on the deck with an excellent meal and glass of wine. A fabulous retreat location for active people and pets. "

  • "WOW what an wonderful little hideaway. Mysti had a wonderful time swimming in the dam, lazing on the deck, walking through the paddocks and chasing crickets and butterflies. I took over 600 photographs, walked, relaxed, recharged and watched the bird and stars. I can highly recommend this exquisite house for you and your pet."
    Susan and Mysti, January 2008
