  • "What an amazing place. I feel as though I have been away for weeks instead of 4 days- extremely relaxing - just what I need before tackling the real world again. I will look forward to coming back. The coffee machine just topped it off- yummo!"

  • "What a magic little place, we had a fantastic time. I would thoroughly recommend the school house to anybody wanting a peaceful and relaxing break away. Being able to have our little dog with us was also an added bonus. Thanks so much to Angela and Warick"

  • "The Monkerai School House is nothing short of excellent with it's old style charm and beautiful location. We loved the ambience and how well presented it was. The owners of this property have restored it beautifully and made sure it contains those comforts from home to make your stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend this accommodation for a short, medium or longer stay.Leonie and Phillip Miller, Newcastle"

  • "Marvellous cottage and gorgeous setting. So thoughtfully prepared and really relaxing. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in."
    Angela, July 2008

  • " A great location to get away from it all. Everything you might need was provided for and we enjoyed the opportunity to take our dog who met up with some strange (and sometimes scary)farm animals that as a city dog, she'd never seen before."
    Gary, June 2008

  • "Very nice and clean. Watch for the black snake at the back in the afternoon when it comes for a drink. My little dog loved it, especially the dam. Mysti went for a swim several times a day. The State Forests are about 20mins drive away if you want to do some serious hiking with your dog or National Parks are not too far if you do not have a dog. Sitting on the back deck was the very best. Either watching the wildlife of the stars. "
