AUGUST 2009 - WE'VE JUST REACHED A MILESTONE - OVER 200 DOGS HAVE STAYED AND NOT ONE HAS EVER ESCAPED OUR YARD!!!
Amazing 360 degree views over Wallis Lake and rural hills from this character filled cosy 3 Bedroom pet friendly cottage located in the best position in Coomba Park, just 3.5hrs north of Sydney and 35 minutes from Forster/Tuncurry.
Fully self contained with huge fully fenced yard (1.8m high) to keep even the most crafty escape artist in! Plenty of space for excercise, especially in the reserve next door or on the lakefront if they need to do some laps. Hardwood floors throughout mean your pets are welcome inside and there is even a doggie door into the laundry which they can call home when you are out and about. There is also a newly renovated bathroom with a tub for the kids.
The local store, jetty, boat ramp and playground are all within easy walking distance and Forster is only 10 minutes by boat. Blueys, Boomerang, Elizabeth and Seal Rocks beaches are all within 20 minutes drive where you can swim with the dolphins or relax in the most crystal clear turquoise water.
Dolphin and whale watching tours can be arranged in Forster which is only 30 minutes drive from Top of the Pops.
Pets can exercise in the reserve next door to the house, usually without a leash if they are well behaved. The lake front reserve is a lovely spot to walk with your best friend along the forshore but they must be on a leash. Blueys Beach allows dogs on a leash on the beach before 8am. Sandbar Beach dogs are allowed all day.
Bedroom Layout:
Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 2 - 2 x Singles (Bunk beds)

"My husband and I had a great stay at "Top of the Pops". The house is well-furnished and was neat and tidy. It was perfect for our week long stay. The backyard was a good size for our dog to play in and the outdoor laundry was a perfect sleeping spot for her. "Top of the Pops" has some of the best views over Coomba Park, which we enjoyed each morning at breakfast sitting on the front verandah."

"We had a fabulous time at Cindy's house. Loved the gorgeous wallpaper and funky stools in the kitchen! Lovely bathroom which was excellent with three sticky, sand covered children at the end of the day. The bed was so comfortable with excellent quality matresses and best of all, the yard was completely dog proof. We have a German Shorthair Pointer and she can normally escape anything. Not this time!
Great time sitting outside, drinking wine watching the sun go down whilst the children played in the yard and reserve next door. Friendly locals and a well stocked shop was great. We did some great stuff in Forster, dolphin tour etc. Ate at Blueys Cafe a lot, but do try the Charlotte Bay Cafe because that was fab too.
The beach at the lake was enclosed and shallow, so totally safe for the children. They caught flathead off the pier and we cooked them on the BBQ in the back yard. Saw kangaroos, turtles, beautiful birds, dolphins, humpback whales... We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Top of the Pops to anyone. We'll be back! Thanks Cindy!"

"We had a great holiday. The house is lovely and comfortable and the area is just beautiful. The yard is so secure we could bring our escape artist dog with us and not worry about her getting out at all. We would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay." Therese, NSW

"My mother-law, her two dogs and I had a blissful week at Top of the Pops. The dogs had great fun spotting wallabies, who of course were always three steps ahead, and the humans just lapped up the amazing views. Cindy was more than accomodating and we found the visitors information pack so helpful in planning our days. Thank you Cindy for providing us with such a wonderful "home" for a week." Prue, NSW
"Thanks cindy - we had a wonderful time - we fell in love with coomba - the sunsets were spectacular - Oscar and Sally loved romping in your backyard, the reserve and the areas of forster-tuncurry - slept like babies all night and on the way home!" Vicki, NSW

"What better way to start the day than the most beautiful view from the most comfortable bed, followed by breakfast with the roos!" Jeff and Anne, NSW
"Both my husband and I had a lovely relaxing week. The wild life around Coomba is probably the best I have experienced. I do believe in leaving a place as you find it and the house was lovely when we arrived. Thank you for allowing our family to experience your unique area." Cheryl, NSW
"We had a great holiday in Coomba and the dogs enjoyed it too, although we nearly had to carry them home after some of our long walks around the village. The house was perfect for a holiday and we would love to go there again some time. The kayaking was excellent, and we paddled around the whole of Wallis island looking at sea eagles and goannas at the picnic area. We really enjoyed the community at Coomba, and everyone was so friendly. Anyway, many thanks for letting us stay there, it was a really good holiday."
Barry and Ros, NSW
