Description

We are idyllically situated in a National Park but just a short drive from the famous surfing beaches of Saltwater and Wallabi Point, Old Bar Village and Taree. There is plenty to see and do in the areawith clubs, restaurants, beautiful rivers and mountains, plenty of art and craft venues all in close proximity are sure to keep you ocuppied. This is a holiday destination to please all ages, one guaranteed not to disappoint.

The Property

You\'ll find The Forest Terrace nestled in the Knappinghat National Park on a 120 acre bush land setting. We offer private accommodation a short distance from the main house which has a comfortable living area with wood fire to keep you warm on cool winter nights always plenty of wood on hand, kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery, microwave, toaster etc. tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be ready for yoy to make a cuppa when you arrive.

Upstairs you have an airconditioned bedroom with one queen bed, double bunks (all have electric blankets), television, ensuite has toilet, shower and washbasin and we provide for your convienience soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand & body lotion, all linen, towels and bathrobes. And we haven\'t forgotten the little ones, we have a cot with all linen and a high chair.

Although the accommodation is fully self contained we can provide you with a light breakfast on request, and for the convienience of our guest we have an undercover BBQ area. For the active bring along your golf clubs for a game on our private course, clubs are also for hire or you could throw a line in the dam - plenty of fish, just remember to bring your tackle. We encourage our guests to explore the property as we are have an abundance of native birds and are proud of our native rain forest.

Although we are a pet friendly property, and do allow pets indoors (this excludes the bedroom area). Guests must take FULL responsibility for their pets - we do not provide food, water bowls or bedding for pets, and under NO circumstances are pets to be left in the cottage or on the property unattended at ANY time, no exception will be made. Pets must be kept under strict supervision by their owners at all times and any damage caused by pets must be accounted for.
