We had a short stay at Rivendell and wished we could have stayed longer. It was relaxing and very comfortable. We happened to be there on the 'coldest day in 4 years' and it was absolutely toasty.

We had a lovely break to the country at Rivendell. The charming cottage was cosy with all the conveniences we needed for our short break. The home made bread was a beautiful added touch. We also enjoyed the company of Milo (the host's dog) who was very a very welcoming host and great company for our dog Charlie. Thanks Gerard & Helvi for a lovely stay.

Wonderfully welcoming and interesting character - from the uneven floors to the freshly baked bread and homemade jam awaiting us on arrival. Unique place which for us was a great overnighter, but would be equally good foe a week long stay.

Great cozy place, you can tell when love is put into a property, because you feel really good staying there. Home made bread, jam and property eggs were delicious.

Great stay for the family. Pool, alpacas, bushwalking, cosy cottage and our dog loved it!

We loved the authenticity of this very old original slab-cottage. The surrounding garden is so lovely and shady. The pool is gorgeously laid out. The peace and quiet is another bonus
Beautiful.
