Lovely 2-bedroom apartment in trendy cafe and shopping area - 2 train stops to the city centre (less than 10 mins) - train or tram to everywhere. Perfect for couples, families or friends visiting Melbourne.

This 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is very well located in Rockley Road, South Yarra, a lovely and quiet tree-lined street with the Yarra River at one end and Rockley Gardens and the famous and vibrant Toorak Road and Chapel Street at the other. Take a leisurely walk, train, or tram ride to all Melbourne city attractions. The city train is just up the road and the tram is right at the end of the street. This is a very convenient and popular part of Melbourne.

The apartment itself is light-filled and well-appointed, with polished floorboards throughout. The separate kitchen has quality European appliances, including Bosch dishwasher, fridge & freezer, Cannon gas stove with dual oven and a microwave oven. The central bathroom is fitted with a deep Japanese-style soaker bath with shower on rail, heated towel rail, LG washer/dryer combo laundry appliance and a separate toilet. The open-plan living/dining room is stylishly furnished with a 6-seater dining table and chairs, coffee table, television/entertainment unit and a 3-seater sofa lounge, which converts to a sofa bed for a fifth person. The living room also contains a 76cm widescreen/flatscreen Sony television and Pioneer surround sound home theatre system. Both main bedrooms have built-in wardrobes. The apartment has heating throughout and keeps lovely and cool in summer.

Other features include, intercom door entry system and remote control access to one undercover car parking space, plus a visitor permit for one on-street car space.

Internet is available at the cafes, convenience stores and public library at the bottom of the road.

I would just like to thank jason and his crew for the fabulous accomadation at the south yarra holiday apartments, it was a pleasant stay , very cosy but with plenty of space....
it was close to all that was happening in Melbourne and just a short tram ride from the other side of the bridge. wiil certainly be staying there again .. thanx to all ,, cheers from up north :)

It was a delight to find an apartment with a well stocked kitchen - there were even sharp knifes often amiss elsewhere. Easy location as we normally stay with family. Would use again if the need arose.

From the get go to our initial query we received quick, detailed responses. They were obliging, informative and helpful with not only their property but our stay and Melbourne as a whole. Nothing was too much trouble and they aimed to be as flexible as possible even giving us a very late checkout to assist with our ongoing travel plans. The apartment was immaculate, very well equipped and the owners were happy to consider anything we thought might be required.Great apartment, location - really enjoyed it!

Although the exterior of the building is a little old and unassuming, once inside, we found that this is a very clean and cozy apartment with simple but pleasing decor. It is very well equiped including a baby booster chair and toilet set cover for little kids. We found the apartment sunny and bright which were important to us and we were particularly pleased with the high quality and very clean bed linens in the bedrooms. It is also very conveniently located, within walking distance to the shops and amenities along Toorak Road and Chapel Street. Jason is an extremely helpful and friend guy. Will certainly consider returning again in the future.
