Description

Bosom Beach House is directly adjacent to the National Park, with only the untouched bush and beaches of the Beecroft Peninsula to the north. The house is surrounded by trees and native garden, and built on a rocky outcrop to catch the breeze.

This cosy house is close to Abrahams Bosom Beach and Currarong\'s magical rock pool (just a 150m stroll), and is designed with beach living in mind, with open plan lounge/dining, stylish furniture, timber floors and well equipped galley-style kitchen.

Currarong is part of the Jervis Bay Marine Park, and is just a short drive (or paddle!) from the many other beautiful beaches and look-outs in the area.

IDEAL FOR TWO COUPLES OR ONE FAMILY

Bosom Beach House sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and two young children. (It is not suitable for six adults).

There are two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bathroom, plus a small bunkroom with 2 single bunks that are good for pre-teens. You\'ll need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Blankets, doonas and pillows are supplied.

The house has an internal laundry, with washing machine, iron and ironing board. For entertainment there is a television, a DVD player and CD player. You\'ll also find a holiday reading library, DVDs, and board games.

Outside there’s a 4 burner oven BBQ. Parents, please note that there is no fence between the garden and the National Park.

We do not permit pets onto the property - either inside the house or in the garden.

The nearby rock pool is a fantastic swimming spot, so don\'t forget to pack your snorkels and flippers!

Guest Reviews

  • "We had an absolutely fabulous time! The house was amazingly well appointed with DVDs, books, board games and others. The location was fantastic, a short walk to the beach and the kids loved playing in the bush right outside the door."

  • "What a great place to stay! - Not enough space to say all the great things about this house and its beautiful bush outlook. 2 minute walk to beach and rock pool. Great bush walks to fishing spots. The perfect place for a family -such a quiet setting,I loved it. The complimentary bottle of red made a nice touch. Wish it was mine, will definitely be back!!"

  • "What a lovely house! Quiet and tucked by the bush and just a short stroll to the lovely Abraham's Bosom Beach (a great gentle beach for little kids), the house differs from most holiday rentals you've stayed in by being filled with intelligent quirky books and music and lovely artwork, as well as comfortable furniture (and a secluded parents' retreat).Highly recommended."
    Brian and Bibi, March 2009

  • "We loved every minute of the place. The house was just lovely and have everything we needed pretty much i thing we used half of what we took with us. We only got to see one kangaroo but our 4 yr old loved it. We took the walk to see the wreck that was a nice and pieceful walk. The beach and the rock pool were just the best thats were we spent most of our time. We went down to the beach and watched the sun set it was very pretty. We liked the whole place and would very much go there again for longer this time."

  • "Very clean and relaxed feel to the house and positioned right alongside the bushlands of Beecroft head which we loved exploring. Really great memories. Would love to stay there again!"

  • "We loved this place. Stylish but very homely and comfortable. Well equipped too (so you'll probably only need half the stuff you take). We saw about ten kangaroos in the garden within an hour of getting there. Loads of birds too and the flashlight isn't just for taking the garbage out. Head a short way into the bush at night and you might see some possums; we managed to spot a sugar glider. If you get lucky remember not to shine the light directly in their eyes, and try not to take more than a couple of flash photos otherwise they'll be wandering about blind the rest of the night... Wreck beach is another good wildlife spotting point, we saw whales, an echidna and some naked dude running behind a bush. We had a great stay, local Fish n'Chipper exceptionally good too. "

  • "We had a great time at Bosom Beach House. It is a very comfortable yet stylish house with lots of spaces for everyone to enjoy. The kids loved the bunk beds and I loved the reading room, with so many excellent choices of books to read but not enough time to read them! And ouf course we enjoyed the kangaroos coming into the garden for afternoon tea. We will stay here again. Thanks!"

  • "Has to be one of the best little houses I have stayed in for a long time, we loved the little touches. The treats in the fridge, the treat on the bench! The book case and games galore. I especially loved the private setting with the bush, great for the kids to sit and watch the kangaroos grazing early evening and the kookaburras feeding off our sandwiches. A must for all nature, book loving families! Oh! And only a short stroll to the beach......!"
