  • "What a fantastic place to stay with your best friend. We have a Kelpie and he loved the backyard and covered deck. The cottage itself is stunning, beautifully decorated with everything you need. And I agree with the other posts really comfy lounges felt just like a home away from home..."

  • "What a fabulous place to stay - the cottage is gorgeous, and Bruce and Robyn are fantastic hosts who make you feel so very welcome. The place is beautifully decorated, light, airy and spotless and really well set up - they have truly thought of everything you need for a great stay. We had a lovely BBQ at on the deck on our last night there, and lots of chill out time on the incredibly comfy couches. Very comfortable and really relaxed and am hoping I can get back there again some time soon!"

  • "Our stay at Macnicol Cottage in October 2007 was a delight. Our happy and friendly hosts, Robyn and Bruce, were never far away and were happy to provide assistance as required. We found Macnicol Cottage to contain everything we (and our dog, Libby) needed. As the yard is fully fenced Libby was free to roam without worry. Every care has been taken to accommodate people in wheelchairs including wide doorways and bathing. Macnicol Cottage is warm, inviting and very practical whether inside or outdoors. With polished timber floors, abundant natural light and ventilation, Macnicol Cottage looks and feels good in any weather. Macnicol Cottage is conveniently located to shops, river, and pleasant level walking areas and still is surprisingly peaceful, quiet and private. This is indeed a truly great getaway. We will be wanting to return again in 2008."
