This is a residence that is hard to beat for size, space, quality and outdoor areas within 8km of the city and just a short drive to any of the beaches in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney.
It is in a quiet up market-street in Bellevue Hill. From the outside fence you would not expect to find such a beautiful home hidden away. This is indeed a rare find.
It is available for 4 weeks or longer over the Xmas and New Year holiday period.
The impressive hallway leads you past 2 lounges one to use for quiet times the other with a TV and media appliances. On the other side of the hallway a king size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, built in wardrobes and bed tables lights and plenty of storage.
Walking down to a split level area there is a superb catering kitchen and all appliances for providing a banquet or casual snacks. Here there is plenty of seating for family gossip and fun time with views of the BBQ area and the pool. Just check the pictures! !
You will find a useful and fully equipped laundry just by the kitchen.
Down 3 steps on the next level there is a very impressive dining table able to seat at least 12 persons. This room opens completely to give extended outdoor living on to an extensive balcony: A sun trap with plenty of outdoor furniture to ensure your relaxation. On this balcony there are 2 BBQs, there is a wet bar and hot plate.
Beyond the dining room is another bedroom with a queen sized bed and an en-suite bathroom
To the left there is a games room which has a billiard table and table tennis table.
Into the garden there is a swimming pool large enough for family use and down a few steps on the grass beyond this a trampoline to help keep you fit.
There are 3 more bedrooms; 2 of these with queen beds and the last one with a king single bed but nevertheless a large bedroom and as with all the other bedrooms the necessary requirements for clothes and storage. Another 2 bathrooms and a powder room make this a very desirable home.
There is a garage for 2 cars; you walk out from the back of the garage on to the entrance at the front of the house.
All this in a great verdant area, with tall trees to shade you and to give you privacy. Who could wish for more?
You are in the middle of the Eastern Suburbs but the feeling is of being surrounded by luxuriant woodlands.
Within close proximity to Bellevue Hill there is a diverse selection of delicatessens, coffee shops and grocery stores. Just take a very short drive to Double Bay and you will find excellent restaurants, very up market shopping, many designer dress shops and a supermarket for your grocery needs.
Drive a little further to Edgecliff where there is a shopping precinct, 2 supermarkets and the railway station. Take a train into Sydney for a city shopping spree, you can park your car for the day and it may be more convenient than finding a park in the city.
A visit to the Rotary Sunday market may be interesting and entertaining for you; it is just at the start of MacLeay St. Potts Point by the El Alamein fountain, plenty of interesting stalls with food, flowers, artefacts, jewellery and knick knacks of all kinds. There is also a Saturday market which is mainly for good fresh vegetables many organically grown.
We have included some pictures of the market and the fountain
