Guest Reviews

  • "Hi Frank and Sue, Just wanted to let you know that "The Old Boat House" was fantastic! Unfortunately I had to work all week but at least I did it in style... The family enjoyed the winery's and surrounding beaches etc. We couldn't believe how well stocked the house was of every a family could possible need to pass the time together. From games to DVD's and a flat plasma screen to go with it. We thank you for a great time and we hope to see you (The house) again soon. :-)"

  • "absolutely blown away by this place, cannot recommend it enough, the owners have thought of everything, even down to the esky and fantastic DVD's and books! Five stars for sure, and plenty of room or all, tasteful and a delight to stay in, with plenty of personal touches, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back but because of the distance we will have have to stay for longer. We were planning on staying in Uladullah but this was definitely the luckiest find!"

  • "We have lived and travelled all over the world and found your delightful holiday home extremely comfortable and homey. It was tastefully decorated, lots of separate living areas to accomodate different age groups wanting to have alone time. At one stage we had the adults on the deck having drinks. A couple of young adults in the TV room watching DVD's. A visitors 5 year old playing a game downstairs. Another couple playing board games in the dining room - It was great! Definitely love to visit again and would recommend the Boathouse to anyone. Spacious, comfortable, close to the bush, beach and lake - A real family getaway without feeling that you are living on top of each other. A visit is a must!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • "Loved this place. Will definitely go back. Great location as well as a great house. Not just that but the owners have thought about providing all the little extras that make you feel really welcome. A little home from home. Perfect for families."

  • "We loved this house. We were really impressed by the quality of the building and equipment and the immaculate level of maintenance and cleanliness. All modern conveniences are supplied. We felt very much at home ? and to be honest, a bit privileged - as soon as we arrived!"

  • "The Old Boathouse is the Taj Mahal of the Street and comfortably sleep 3 couples or 2 couples and a couple of children. Fantastic location with amazing deck suitable for colder or rainy days and a a fantastic garden suitable for hanging out in the sun. The beach is only 5 minutes drive and the lake 3 mins walk. Relative to other rented houses it has a FULLY equipped kitchen as well as enough reading material, DVD's and games to keep you occupied indoors when required. Five stars and i'm usually a harsh critic. Recommend getting the linen and towels as part of the package. "

  • "A truly wonderful escape. Every thing you could want and more has been provided here. Left refreshed and inspired. Thank you Sue and Frank for all your attention and care, definately one of the best holiday homes on the coast. The fish and chip shop and the day spa are a big highlight too."

  • "A gorgeous sunlight home that is both welcoming and cosy. Our three young children had plenty to keep them busy with all the lovely games and toys, the house was very child friendly making our stay relaxing. Thank you Frank and Sue, I would not hestiate recommending your home to anyone seeking a gettaway down Milton way."

  • "This was our second stay in eighteen months at TOB. The high standard has not changed at all. The owners are to be congratulated for all the hard work they must put in to keep the property in this condition. Wish we could have stayed for longer. We hope they will let us stay again soon."
