Description

Designed to solar passive spoecifications, this luxury homestead features its fabulous valleys views from balconies that surround the house. All guests coomments on the greeness of the pastures and the feeling of relaxation they experience on arrival.

Each bedroom features locally made furniture from local timbers, the finest quality mattresses and bed linen and bathroom fittings. Fully ensuite with own bathroom and balcony.

Enter the bedrooms from the library and DVD/Video collection area and enjoy the open plan living area made fully available to guests.

For a couple staying a single night the GST inclusive price is $195 - includes generous cooked breakfast; for two nights or more the price is $165 per night and there are further discounts for a stay of a week or more. Packages for Dinner Bed & Breakfast stays are available from $250 for a single evening.

The Property

The property is also home to Benbellen Alpaca Products based on the fleece harvested from the alpacas kept on the home paddocks.

Also part of "home" are our chooks, ducks, geese and guinea fowl, not to mention our three border collies all of whom wil, give you a warm welcome on arrival.

Set high in this old dairy valley, the farm comprises fifty-five acres approximately one third of which being rain forest regrowth area.

Picturesque dams and lily and lotus ponds are a feature of the views close to the homestead while views are also available down the valley to South Brother one of the local landmark mountains.

Local Activities

Hannam Vale is full of things to do and see. Coorabakh National Park is a short drive away with its picnic arews views of the Landsowne escarpment and rainforest walks. Dooragan national Park is the home of North Brother and one of the best coastal viewing spots in the entire Holiday Coast.

Rainforst walks are plentiful nearby with the Middle Brother park home to some of the biggest gum trees in New South Wales.

The area is a paradise for birdwatchers and animal lovers from the local bird life to the koala santuaries in Port Macquarie and the kangaroo and wallaby haunts of Diamond Head on the Pacific Coast.

Restaurants, wine tasting, galleries and museums privide more liesurely activity for guests. We are close to the Macadamia Farm in Lorne Valley.
