Equable weather, plenty to do.

Summer, Autumn. Perfect time of the year for that getaway. Daytime driving, visiting the caves or a local boutique winery, walking the beach, or evening barbeques on the balcony watching the moon reflected on the silvery Blackwood River. Sounds unbelievable!

Check details of upcoming concerts and performances in the region on Margaret River tourist websites.

When will your visit be?
Beaches, fishing and tripping around forests and wineries in the warmer months.
And snuggling up, whale-watching, caving and walking through forests and along wide beaches in the cooler months.

  • "Great location and house has a great view of the Blackwood River through the tree's. Everything you need is included, so we could just unpack and start relaxing! Don't forget to turn the HWS switch on in the meter box though when you first arrive. Loved having a BBQ breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river, we didn't want to leave."

  • "The house is very nice in extremely good location. Very quiet area with the river nearby. The house is well setup with everything necessary to have a great relaxing time. The birds in the yard were very entertaining and some very obligingly posed for some quite good photos. One of the best stops in our trip around WA. Terry has been very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."
    Owen, September 2010

  • "Great location, quiet, close to river boat ramp but only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The house is perfectly suited for an extended family or two families sharing. Terry was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with."

  • "Such a great house to stay in. Everything you could possibly need or want to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable. Close to town and the river is just across the road. Boat ramp just across the road too. The house is huge. There were four of us and we felt like we were rattling around in it :) I would definately recommend this house to anyone and especially large groups. I would stay here again for sure. Thanks Terry."
    Julie, January 2010

  • "We had a group of 8 people who stayed for the weekend to compete in the Anaconda Augusta adventure race. The house comfortably accomodated all of us and was close to town and the river just out the front door. It was a much shorter drive from Perth now that the new freeway has been built (3hr 15mins) and we look forward to returning next year."
    Sean, November 2009

  • "We had a quiet break here in the south west. Nice comfortable house with full amenities, plenty of room for the two of us and we took advantage of the movie library. Terry was good to deal with. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your holiday home. "
