Augusta Hiheaway was a joy to stay in. The view of the river from the house through the trees made you want to sit on the verandah all week. The house was huge, great for the whole famiy. The walk track in front of the house along the river was great. We will look forward to staying again.

My family and friends cannot thank the owners of Augusta Hideaway for providing us with a welcome and relaxing respite from life in Perth.

The house was well-equipped and easy to maintain. The house layout afforded two families - or one family with teenagers - with opportunities for privacy and sanctuary from noise elsewhere in the house.

It was also well-situated; convenient to town but away from the fray of summertime visitors, while also affording easy and picturesque long walks along the Blackwood River Inlet and surrounding bush, with easy short drives to the protected west coast beaches and inlets and nearby tourist attractions.

Thanks much for your hospitality.

We stayed for a week in January and had a very relaxing time. The house is very well situated and has a nice outlook to the water. Inside it is well appointed with everything one could need.
