River levels are maintained by the Weir, water sports can be enjoyed all year round.

The holidayhome is fully self contained, with outdoor spa, king sized bed, large bathroom with double shower and barbeque area. The accommodation is well heated inside and out, with an outdoor paved area, clear roll down blinds and an electric heater on the veranda, the perfect place for a secluded getaway to Echuca.

It is the perfect setting for a couple wishing to get away from the pressure of the city and want to spend some quality time together in a luxury rural setting away from it all.

Location

Goolwa River Retreat is located approx 300 klm's from Melbourne's CBD off the Murray Valley Hwy.

We are only a 20 minute drive from Echuca so you can browse the Historic Port of Echuca and enjoy a ride on a paddlesteamer or play a game of golf at Rich River Golf Club.

Bring your own boat and do a trip to the Torrumbarry Weir or meander your way along the great Murray River up to the Deep Creek Marina. We can put your boat in for you, with a boat ramp approx 500 metres from the property. Mooring 100 metres from accommodation.

Interested in trying to catch the elusive Murray Cod and don't have your own boat, then we can arrange a local fishing guide to take you to the best spots (POA).
