Guest Reviews

  • "Susan's beach house is simply divine. Surrounded by beautifully manicured tropical gardens and only a couple of minutes walk to a beautiful unspoilt beach, this place is an absolute gem! The main house and the granny flat are both decked out in very well put together "beach" decor - so cute it could be in an edition of "inside out". The place has everything you could need, from a well-equipped kitchen, internet and cable tv to linens and robes, shampoo & conditioner, candles, flowers and even milk in the fridge (not to mention other gourmet treats hidden around the place!)... Susan has thought of everything to make you feel at home. Thanks Susan, we'll be back!"

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Susans Beachouse. The location is great, quiet and very close to a beautiful beach. The house is meticulously finished, has a great contemporary beachhouse ambience, is very relaxing and welcoming. It is a great holiday house for a family or two couples. We really appreciated the hospitality and look forward to returning."

  • "We had a fantastic 2 week stay. Location is peaceful, lots of bush, birds, sound of the ocean at night! Seperate parent retreat was bliss, the kids enjoyed their evening bath in the big tub gazing out the windows to the bush and wallabies. Main house relaxing, plenty of room and eveything you need.Close to all the surrounding sites but away from the hub of Byron. Thanks again Susan."

  • "Susans Beachhouse has all the charm and atmosphere you dream about in a beachhouse. It has outdoor showers and backs onto paddocks with horses that often come up to the fence. It was perfect for us, we stayed for 10days and enjoyed cooking with local food from the markets and walking along to the dreamy beaches at the point. Most of the time we were the only ones on the beach so you definately dont feel like you are only 5 mins from byron. Its like a little slice of heaven and is close enough to byron that you can head into town for a late meal or drink but then return to your own private haven away from the touristy hub. The hosts were lovely and very easy going. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will remember it always! Thankyou"

  • "Susans Beachhouse was a gorgeous place with a very beachy feel to it. The gardens are very tastefully done with tropical plants everywhere and even has a herb garden. We particularly liked the outdoor shower especially when you come back from the beach. The seperate room at the back was perfect with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside while relaxing in the stand alone bath. it was really very cute and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

  • "Susan's beach house was fantastic. Right near some of the most spectacular beaches in Australia, it is a trendy getaway suitable for a family or a couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found that the design and layout of the beach house was excelent, more like an expensive byron bay home than a holiday property. We will definately be back again. Liam and Kirsten"

  • "Susan's beachouse is one of the most sublime holiday houses we've ever stayed in. Many happy hours were spent on the daybed amongst the gorgeous garden listening to the birds and sounds of the beach. Just a walk to Broken head and the fabulous coastline. Perfect."
