Poem
teapots and canisters, lavender and lace,
hydrangeas in vases, bound books in case
verandahs of cedar and chairs made of cane;
you'll find "Charlie's Cottage" down Ravenswood Road
the kitchen's so rustic with its old fuel stove;
there's so much to see, the eyes do rove
'round the shelves-to see an era gone by
what memories,or secrets, here do lie?
peaceful, guiet,calm and serene
are before me in the lovely scene;
a long chair with pillows invites me to lie
and happily watch the world go by
from a poem by Marg Ress a guest -(Byron Bay) Jan 2010

As a designer father always tells me when building his house, one thing that is beyond his power is to fill the house with "soul" which can only be given by the people who live in it. Giang (who rode a pushbike from Sydney to stay a week)
