“Villas and Vines” is a large Tuscan style chateau, set at the end of the Sailors Falls Estate vineyard. Up to ten[10] people will be accommodated in two luxury villa units, each with its own spa and wood fire heater or a one bedroom studio suite is also available upstairs with modest rates. Guests with a yen for exercise may choose from a trek through the forest, head to the magnificent Sailors Falls waterfalls and natural spring or opt for just a leisurely stroll around the vineyard.
By arrangement hearty appetites can be catered for on the estate with wood-fired pizza’s and BBQ’s. Alternatively if you choose to venture further afield, the cafes and restaurants of Daylesford serve delicious local produce and are within a five minute drive.
We offer a luxury bush retreat where you can enjoy beautiful surrounding and fine wine at your leisure – now that’s something to get excited about!!

The Wine

The 2004 Pinot Gris from Sailors Falls Estate was featured at the "World's Longest Lunch" at Sault. The 2003 Vintage was awarded a medal at the Daylesford Macedon Wine Show. Both the Pinot Gris and the Pinot Noir are now available at the cellar door at Sailors Falls Estate and at various restaurants in the area.

The Pinot grape, being a lover of cool climates, relishes the areas cold, crisp winters and short dry summers. Notable Eastern Peake winemaker, Norman Latta, works his magic on the carefully nurtured fruit of Sailors Falls Estate to make some really impressive[and prize winning] pinots.

To those who have tasted Sailors Falls Estate's exceptional Pinots the prospect of a range of wines under the same label is cause for eager anticipation. A luxury bush retreat with fine wines and in a vineyard setting - now that's something to get really excited about.

Surroundings

Surrounded on two sides by the "WOMBAT FOREST" and set on undulating land within a seven-hectare property, the vineyard at Sailors Falls Estate was established in 1999. Conveniently located in Telegraph Road about 300 metres from the Ballan-Daylesford Road, the property is within walking distance of the acclaimed restaurant, Sault ,which has the Pinot Gris featured on their current wine list.

Sailors Falls is well located only 5 minutes drive from the trendy town centre of Daylesford. The surrounding areas provide a plethora of activities for those who are away to play or away to rest and relax. Spas, food and wellness venues at your call.
