Fantastic space for large groups. Totally private with uninterrupted views. 8 acres of land surrounding the house ... great for cricket and footie games. Few minutes drive to Daylesford's main street. Farmers Arms and Sunday market a 15 minute walk away. Guests say once they arrive they never want to leave.

WEEKENDS: Minimum price is $960 for 2 weekend nights for up to 10 people
Extra adults $30 per person per night

LONG WEEKENDS:
Flat rate of $1440 for 3 nights

WEEKNIGHTS:Sunday through to Thursday nights
MINIMUM IS $320 PER NIGHT for up to 8 people
Extra adults $20 per night
Extra children $15 per night
Maximum $400 per night for 11-12 people

WEEKLY 7 NIGHT STAY:
Only includes 1 weekend $2100 for up to 10 people
Works out at $30 per person per night based on 10 people staying for 7 nights

Chestnut Views extra details

Chestnut Views has been a wonderful venue for many family groups, special birthdays, girls weekends, book clubs, craft groups and even a guide dog group with 12 guide dogs staying. The setting is in an acre of lovely gardens with beautiful mature spreading Chestnut trees. The house is spacious and casual. The beds are comfy with quality linen. There are 2 Ned kelly wood fires which warm up both lounge areas. The kitchen is huge with large modern stove for larger group catering. Daylesford's main street is only a 4 minute drive away. Farmers Arms Hotel for quality food and great atmosphere is a 15 minute walk away. The Sunday market is also within walking distance. Chestnut Views offers affordable accommodation for larger groups who want to come to Daylesford to relax and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful sunsets.

  • "We stayed at Chestnut Farm with our family, 8 adults and 4 children. Perfect size house for this many people. Dinning room table was a great size for having meals together, playing board games or having coffee whilst reading the weekend newspapers. The 2 bathrooms were very nicely decorated with plenty of room and quality toiletries. The 3 toilets catered for everyone. All beds were very comfy in nicely decorated rooms. Had great fun in the large kitchen as we all love to cook. Views from lounge and kitchen windows reminded us of country France. Gardens around the home were delightful and the kids had a wonderful time exploring. Wood-fire heaters were excellent and the heaters in bathrooms and bedrooms were a bonus. A house with a lovely atmosphere that was enjoyed by all. "

We have stayed at many fabulous properties throughout Victoria but this was by far the most homely and welcoming of them all. Two living areas meant some could sing and play guiatar while others played rowdy boardgames. A great place to stay with beautiful views and a perfect distance from town."
