OCEAN VIEW COTTAGE has a great location set up above the street and is very close to the surfing beach. We have just finished a complete makeover of the kitchen, bedrooms, living area and bathroom - check out the photographs below, we hope you like it! Quiet and private, Ocean View Cottage is perfect for a relaxing holiday with your family and/or pets (by arrangement.)
Stunningly redecorated house with large balcony and fabulous beach views
Accommodation is on the one level. We completed a new fitout of the house in March 2013 - new floorboards have been put down in the living and dining areas and every room has been stylishly refreshed (new furniture, paint, wall hangings etc).
There are generous living and dining areas, 2 bedrooms and a large balcony, complete with BBQ, where you can relax watching the changing light over ocean, beach and sky. The second bedroom (with twin beds) also has a fold-out bed and is large enough to sleep 3 people. The house has two toilets and one bathroom.
At the rear of the house is a tiled laundry area which leads out with level access to the fully fenced rear garden. There is also an outside shower for washing off sand and saltwater. Our part-time manager uses the small completely separate flat on the lower level.
As well as the main surfing beach, there's a leash-free area of the beach for dogs so you can book a holiday for the whole family!
Emerald Beach - quiet village atmosphere
Emerald Beach is a small village with two great restaurants, a pizzeria (great for the kids), general store, hairdresser, video store and bottle shop.
Supermarkets and larger shops are close by at Woolgoolga and Moonee, while Coffs Harbour is about 20km south.
Award-winning Saltwater Cafe and Restaurant is a moment away, and has been recommended by the Good Food Guide for several years ("...a relaxed and stylish vibe..."). They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (great for coffee). Open Wed - Sun.
