Avaleigh Elms is a well appointed cosy country farm stay cottage with two bedrooms (1 double and 2 singles).
It is situated 1250 metres/4000 feet above sea level on the Tablelands Way near the historic town of Oberon. The farm is in the middle of prime grazing country and offers wonderful relaxation and enjoyment in the pursuit of many rural activities with animals to view, pat or feed. We have a menagerie of lovable pets. Farm tours are always available and on request Forest tours offer sightings of kangaroos, wombats and wild deer.
Caving at Jenolan, Wombeyan or Abercrombie adjacent to the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, trout fishing, mountain bike riding, fossicking, mushrooming and blackberry picking (seasonal), hoarse riding and bush walking at magnificent Kanangra Boyd National Park
Our countryside has gentle undulations and offers many species of Australian parrots and birds inhabiting the large stands of eucalypts. Village pubs offer hearty country food and welcome families.
Avaleigh Elms is two hours to the wine and food regions of Orange and Mudgee, 11/2 hours to the town of Goulburn and 2 ½ hours to Canberra on the Tablelands Way.
Tina and John are waiting to give you a warm country welcome and advise that as it is a working farm we cannot have motorbikes pets or firearms.
