Guest Reviews
We were 8 mums on a weekend away, we opened the door to find the most fantastic house with an open fire, lots of beds and blankets and 2 fridges, not to mention a sunny verandah with ample seats for all of us. We had a great weekend being close to some wonderful vineyards and the markets. Samples of the local wares were also part of the house and very much appreciated.

We had a wonderful time at Monkey Place (a group of 9 friends) our only complaint was that we should have booked in for longer! Loved the feel of the place especially the beautiful wide verandah circling the house, we spent musch of our time sitting out there in the sun. We picked one of the coldest weeks - so we will definitely will be back to enjoy the pool and spa in the warmer months. It was without a doubt the best equipped kitchen of any house we have stayed in over the years. We will be back.

Great spot for a weekend away. Six adults & one child had plenty of room, great kitchen, cosy lounge with fire ... peaceful & quiet ... close to wineries. We would all happily go again.

We visited Monkey place as a group of runaway mums. It proved the perfect remedy for us weary friends. Large and incredibly comfy beds left us most relaxed (every bed was comfy, even the bunks...huge and sturdy). We spent the morning lounging on the verandah reading the papers before a cruisy afternoon in beautiful Broke (go to Krinklewood).
As the sun set, we ambled inside and stoked up the cosy combustion fire before creating a fabulous meal in the well equiped kitchen. Why go out when staying in is so delicious!

We will absolutely be back for our next escape as a group, and will no doubt visit again with our respective families and friends. It all looks very family friendly, so we shall look forward to cranking up the spa in the months to come.

The property was stunning and the house had everything you could possibly imagine for a great stay.
The full day tour with Nightingale winery was a blast and a must do.
Thankyou so much Dave we are already planning the next stay if you will have us back.

Monkey Place was a fantastic house and perfect for our ladies softball group of 11.
The kitchen well equiped, bedrooms cosy, and the spa a wonderful place to relax after a long day touring the wineries. We will definately go back again.

We had such a wonderful weekend stay with 2 other families. The house was so attractive, comfortable for that many people and very well equipped. The wrap around verandah, pool and location were an added bonus. 'Dave' the owner could'nt have been more helpful!!
