Beachwalk Cottage is located in historic Blairgowrie a few minutes from Sorrento shopping hub with banks fashion boutique shops supermarkets, cafes restaurants, picture theatre, hotels, and many more places for dining out.
Many romantic ocean walking tracks to view the magnificient sunsets or watch birds fly on the wind.
Go golfing at the many public access golf clubs
On most weekends there is a market somewhere to find that something special for every member of the family as well as have some fun and a great day out.
Maybe go and have a Spa at the new Hot Springs complex.
Go and get lost in any of the two Mazes.
Get on a horse riding winery tasting tour or to the Gunnamatta Trail rides.
Go and swim with the Dolphins
Go and sail port phillip bay daily or overnight

Visit the new Point Nepean National Park with the old historic Army Fort built in 1882 where walking you will see spectacular 360 degree views towards the Port Phillip Bay entrance across to Port Lonsdale light house.
To Bush Rangers Bay Cape Schanck regarded as the best short coastal walk in Victoria with abundant bird life.
Greens Bush for wild life, maybe at dusk you can view a kangaroo mob feeding together.

Activities on the Peninsula

Golfing is a buzz at any of the ten golf courses eg, Eagle Ridge, Portsea, The Dunes or Sorrento etc.
Many beaches to choose for a swim or to surf like Spooks/Portsea Portsea Back beach or just paddle your toes at maybe visit Sorrento Back Beach the kids they will love the rock pool afterwards you can have a snack tea or coffee at the tea rooms
Maybe visit the Strawberry farm on red hill or enjoy the local produce
Have a trip on the Queenscliff/Sorrento Ferry as a passenger for a day to visit Queenscliff shops galleries cafes or restaurants or maybe see the Dolphins on the way there and back.
Or just wet a fishing line off any of the many piers, you might be lucky and catch a fish
