Shop till you drop amongst the colourful boutiques and the renowned Sunday market on The Esplanade. Take a 4 wheel drive day trip to Cape Tribulation where Captain James Cook's ship the Endeavour ran aground on the reef in 1770 or Cooktown where the ship was repaired.
