  • "Disappointing that the owner treated our visit as a transaction, and not as a guest. Completely unable to speak with the owner prior to our booking - only received replies to e-mail, and phone never answered. The property needs an upgrade - broken cupboards, ants infested in kitchen, bare minimum of amenities provided. Insect screens would have been helpful - would have been nice to be able to open windows on a warm night without the issue of mosquitos joining us. Most disappointing - the price the owner quoted was $50 more expensive than the website, with no real reason given for it. The location was good, and it was reasonably clean, but the lack of service provided means I would not recommend this property to anyone."

  • "I booked Rivergum for a group of 6 friends to stay whilst they were in South Australia for my 30th birthday Barossa Wine Tour. They ALL commented on how lovely the cottage was and wished they were able to stay longer than the 2 nights. Breakfast provisions were ample!! Only issue they had was with the front door being difficult to open."

  • "It was the most enjoyable stay. The Welcome Basket of food was fabulous. The house was lovely and clean. It was in a quiet area and still close to the town. We loved it! We live in Darwin and to stay in a very old but renovated home was a treat. We found information on other places on the internet, but are so glad we chose yours."
