Location

Panorama is approximately 4.5hrs north from Sydney. Hat Head is located in Hat Head National Park being about 25 minutes north of Crescent Head and 35 minutes south of South West Rocks. Also, for the 4WD enthusiast, both Crescent Head and SWR are accessible via the beach from Hat Head.

Attractions

Panorama is located high on a ridge in the National Park on The Gap side of Hat Head. This area must be one of the most unspoilt areas of the NSW North Coast, being totally surrounded on the northern and east sides by beaches and national park to the west and south.

The main Hat Head beach is protected and is a beautiful swimming beach. Surfing is best off the point and at Conners Beach (directly accessible from Panorama!).

Hat Head is renowned for its fishing and whale watching - being the closest point to the Continental Shelf in NSW.

Panorama is an excellent base for exploring the Hat Head National Park, and many a number of deserted beaches are within easy reach. see
