  • "My partner and I have just spent a week at The Grannery and have to say that we enjoyed our time there greatly. The house is very nice and has all the basic stuff you need to live on. It is close to the shops in town and very near the beach. We had great weather and the outdoor BBQ area was used nightly. The owners live a few doors away and can help instantly if anything is needed. We ran out of gas for the BBQ and Alan had a new one for me in 5 mins. Very handy indeed. The rooms and bathroom are very nice and very clean.....something I always rate highly. I'm sure we will be going back to this place in the near future."

  • "Our stay at the Grannary was absolutely fantastic. Very spacious, plenty of natural light, clean and tidy and quite private. The bathroom is relatively large and the master bed very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. The owners Ann & Allan are wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. We even received a bottle of complimentary wine. Thanks for a very relaxing & rejuvenating week, we will definitely return. Lisa & Karl"

  • "Our young family (with 2 children under 5yrs) enjoyed a lovely stay at the Grannary cottage. The very comfortable and contemporary furnishings provided a great holiday environment for relaxing and enjoying the excellent weather. There was plenty of room for the kids with the rumpus area. We would highly recommend this accomodation. "

  • "This house is quiet, comfortable, homely and private with all mod cons (we appreciated the dryer and airconditioning). It is very conveniently located to Sawtell's beach and the main street with restaurants, clubs and cinema. The bed was new and very comfortable, and beautiful linen and a bottle of wine were provided by the friendly owners. The Grannary could also accommodate people with mobility problems - there are no stairs or steps whatsoever, the bathroom has rails and an accessible shower, and hallways, doorways and rooms are generous in size. The courtyard would be great for summer BBQs. The house is located on a half block so there is no backyard. The Grannary was amazing value at $375 for the week."
