Description

Originally built in 1900 this quaint stone cottage is a romantic retreat. With an open fire and claw footed bath the polished jarrah floors add a warmth and style to this beautiful cottage.
The kitchen furniture features a side board all made from the original baltic pine timber. There are laundry facilities for those who can spoil themselves and stay a while.
The sheep graze near by while you cook a barbecue and enjoy the country side amidst century old gum trees.
For those who like to walk a magnificant view can be seen when guests stroll on the 55 acre property. A pony likes to see if an apple is available. There is plenty to do or just enjoy the heavenly surroundings both inside and out.

  • "A wonderful retreat from the busy mclaren vale wineries. Everything we could possibly want in a lovely environment."

  • "The setting being a little out of busy Mclaren Vale was wonderful as it gave us a chance to unwind and enjoy the country experience, before heading off the next day to the wineries. The cottage had everything we needed and more, and was very comfortable."
