Description

Pamela's Beach House is the true beach house experience. Well appointed with an enormous entertainer's kitchen, a private sun-drenched deck and a short 4 minute walk to Greenfields Beach. The house is family and group friendly - perfect for your next weekend or week away with friends - kids or not!

Kids Need Room, Adults Need Space

The house sleeps 11 people comfortably, with 4 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All bedrooms have queen beds, the main bedroom with a romantic 4-poster bed.

The house has 3 living areas, an enormous deck with gas BBQ, a fabulous stainless steel kitchen and a rustic open fireplace. The second living area also has an full wall mural of Greenfields Beach by wildlife illustrator Linda Collingridge of Fresh Palette in Sydney.

There is also a separate studio which can be booked with the house (extra) which has a queen in the bedroom, an en-suite and a full kitchen. This can be booked separately - check out Pamela's Beach Studio.

Pamela's is perched on the edge of the National Park with Greenfields Beach a 200 metre gentle bush stroll away. You have only the birds and the sound of the lapping waves to lull you into a restful sleep at night. However you are still only 5 minute's drive to Vincentia shops.

Privately Owned and Personally Maintained

The house is privately managed - you will deal directly with me when you stay. It is furnished in an art-house beach-house style with an eclectic mix of quality furnishings and original artworks. If you are looking for a winter break the house has a wonderful open sandstone surrounded fireplace which we are upgrading with a huge built-in wood burning heater in May 2008. We have electric heaters in all the rooms and a gas heater on the deck (gas bottle to be filled by guests), and there are comfy doonas, lots of spare blankets and throws on the lounges that you can wrap around yourself as you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck gazing up at the stars.

The house is supplied with magazines, books and games to enjoy on those rainy or chilly days when you would just rather stay in and curl up in front of the fire. The grounds are planted with mature citrus trees, cumquats, olives and fragrant herbs, and are regularly mowed and tended. There is even a well...!

Guest Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay at such a lovely beach house. The property is extensively furnished, well kept, great value and is just beautiful - perfect for groups of people! This place is just metres away from white sand beaches and Jervis Bay National Park. Its the attention to detail that really makes this property a really 'special place' - especially the kitchen which has every utensil you could imagine for cooking up a feast. Will definitely be staying here again.

What a wonderful guesthouse and great valve. Also didn't feel like a show home but a real home. Great to have a couple of families and kids. Beach is just around the corner and plenty of great stuff to do in the area. The highlight was the fanastic kitchen and beautiful big fireplace that was well used during our stay.

For us Pamela's Beach House was the perfect location even in the middle of winter, because we love food & love to cook - Pamela's has a great kitchen; love to sit a front of a fire and drink wine, and love long walks along beaches - and at Pamela's we could do it all, the whole week long! Plus we enjoyed watching the native birds during the day & possums at night! All of us loved the house, & found it very hard to leave.

Pamela's Beach house was the perfect retreat for a winter long weekend. It more than comfortably accomodated 12 adults, with the log burner keeping us all warm and toasty. Many laughs were shared at the big wooden table in the kitchen. Overall experience was just fantastic and I would higly recommend Pamela's Beach house to others. We look forward to coming back hopefully soon.

We had a lovely holiday at Pamela's Beach House. It was extremely child-friendly with two portacots, pram and high chair. The deck is a really nice area and secure for children and the environment around the house is beautiful. The house is only a short walk to the beach as well. We would highly recommend this house.

We had a wonderful weekend at Pamela's and enjoyed the "home away from home" feel about the place. It is a very short distance to the beaches, surrounded by beautiful Australian bush, and secluded enough to be able to hear the birds and roaring ocean. The industrial sized kitchen is perfect for large groups, and there are enough toilets and showers to cater for everyone. We are trying to find another excuse to go back!

The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect with beaches and parks just a short walk away. The house has a lovely warm feel - the kitchen would have to be the best room to be in! We all had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend staying here to everyone.

The location was lovely, and we enjoyed some wonderful hours on the deck just relaxing and playing games with the background noise of the ocean adding to the ambiance. A perfect location if you want somewhere very close to a beach that is excellant for children. There is also a couple of lovely parks within walking distance that is great for that game of cricket of soccer.
