A Wonderful place to stay. It is so hard to find accommodation that will allow you to have dogs. Our dogs had the best time running around the paddocks and enjoying a swim in the river. Loved hearing the birds and the night life. Peaceful to wake up to the serenity. The house was comfortable, neat and tidy everything you require from a two night stay to a week. Would return in a heartbeat but next time a longer stay for sure.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday at Whispers. We loved it! The house is beautiful and it was a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere so toddler proof! You should advertise the child safe aspects of the house because it is one in a million. Parents will love you forever.
We had a great time. Loved the gas cooktop and dvd library and the rocky creek was fantastic for our boys.
Plan to stay again soon (also plan to bring some friends along with us this time too).

We had such an amazing time up at your place. It was truly wonderful. Saw so many platypi/platypae, echidna and loads of birdlife. Our dog, Charlie, spent the whole weekend off the lead (except from when we were near the cows), which he loved. Being a city dog he doesn't get much opportunity to roam around freely! The house was amazing - the fire lovely, the fig incredible and the dam...refreshing! The river was just lovely to swim in and the kayaks were perfect. We even got our puppy doing a good section of the river on his own! I think it was the most perfect time of year to stay there. Just incredible. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay on on Sunday - the sunset was again beautiful thanks to the smoke from the fires down the coast.
I think we will definitely be back in the future. Once again - a huge thank you. An amazing weekend.

We had a wonderful five nights here with our son and grandchildren. A relaxing secluded location with lots a walks and and exploring for the children and good swimming behind the farm and in the river. And the house itself is large, comfortable and very well equipped with everything that you could want.
All in all, an excellent spot.

Arrival was breath taking. Mum had no idea where she was going therefore it was really wonderful surprise. This house is so peaceful and enjoyable. Spent the weekend with my family and din't have to lift a finger. I was well spoilt. The house has a wonderful homely feeling. The rooms are well ventilated and the airconditions is a godsend. Had the time of my life. A wonderful memory to kick of another "half century"! Whispers, I thank you.

Thank you once again for a wonderful time at Whispers. Its very similar to
the small property I grew up on and I felt right at home straight away.
Kathryn and I and the other couple who came with us thoroughly enjoyed our
couple of days of R & R and we are already talking about when we might be
able to come back.
You have a lovely warm house in more ways than one, so we didn't need to use
any of the firewood - we found that with the location, the quiet and the
comfortable beds in the next rooms, we were so relaxed that we just tumbled
into our beds fairly early. Our dog is currently having radiation treatment
for cancer and when we left home she must have thought we were taking her
back to the vet for more treatment, but she perked up once we were on
the highway and had a ball when we got to Kenilworth. I think she enjoyed it
almost as much as we did!

We had the most wonderful stay at Whispers thank you! The dogs had an absolute blast with the wide open spaces (not to mention the river) and it provided some much needed R'n'R for my husband and self! The place is absolutely beautiful and such a welcoming home to enter! Thank you for providing such a wonderful haven!

Whispers is a completely beautiful house in a gorgeous location! With a gaggle of small children - who loved the wide open green spaces - in tow we just loved roaming the area, swimming in the Mary River & exploring lovely Kenilworth and its surrounds. Listen out for the 'Frog Orchestra' too, who, after a late night downpour, provided an incredible canvas of sound to fall asleep by. This place is a treasure.

My friends, husband and I had a wonderful time at Whispers - we loved the house, the surrounds and the cows! The only (minor)downside is that we didn't feel the sleepout was suitable for two adults when not summer. That aside, we highly recommend whispers and would love to come back - it was one of the most relaxing and refreshing weekends we have all had in a long time.

We had a lovely stay at Whispers, peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Sitting on the deck early morning and evening is special, the sounds of birds in the big fig and far-off lowing of cattle rubs out city stresses quickly. Try the back road up to Mapleton, the scenery is outstanding. The house is well equipped with all the comfort and mod-cons one needs. We'll be back to explore this beautiful area further.

This was the ultimate getaway for us. Whispers was private (better than B&B or cabins)and perfect place to relax for the weekend. It was cosy, had good kitchen and a great claw foot bath (great bubble baths). We saw beautiful sunsets and wildlife. We went into Kenilworth and had a meal with the locals at the pub and had a visit to the cheese factory.. fantastic! try the red malling mature with a great red. We'll be back again PS there's a great private river & lagoon to have an early morning swim

My husband & I enjoyed the most relaxing weekend at Whispers - I took advice from another feedback here & enjoyed some "Red Malling Cheese" from the Kenilworth factory with some red wine - (beautiful!), on the verandah watching the sun go down, with only the sounds of the occasional passing car and the surrounding wildlife. Looking forward to returning to Whispers soon.

My husband & I and 6 friends headed up to Whispers last weekend to celebrate a special birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil surroundings - a wonderfully relaxing experience... far removed from the usual crazy pace of the city. The side dining room is an excellent space - we spent nearly all of time in there; whether it be enjoying a beautiful hot cooked BBQ breakfast or staying up late playing a game of cards. And the warmth of the fireplace is wonderful in winter! Will definitely be staying here again.

Whispers at Kenilworth is a gem! What a way to relax and unwind and get-away from the rat race of school holidays. We took our bicycles and enjoyed the fresh air cycling around discovering a new area. We enjoyed swimming in the river, star gazing at night and good old fashioned country fun. The icecreams at the cheese factory are devine! The kids had a ball and so did our little dog. It was great to enjoy open space and the privacy of doing our own thing. A great holiday for the whole family. We highly recommend - a holiday to remember!

What a great base to explore the adjacent Mapleton/Montville and surrounding areas with their outstanding scenery. The house is very comfortable with all mod cons. Sitting on the deck in the early morning and evening listening to the lowing of the dairy cattle next door took me back to my childhood days on the farm, it was very peaceful. We had a lovely stay exploring the river and swimming waterholes, fed the horses and used the runway for driving lessons for my daughter! The scenic route up to the pretty village of Montville is a highlight with fantastic views over the valleys. We were a little busy to get to the bushwalking but will do that next time. We look forward to visiting again.
