Just a short drive south of Sydney, the city of Nowra offers plenty of cultural attractions. Aviation history abounds at the Fleet Air Arm Museum, and you can see examples of the area's early architecture at the Werninck Craft Cottage and the Meroogal House, a 19th-century Gothic-style dwelling that now offers history exhibits and guided tours.
