Description

The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia's great tourist drives. Grey River is a tiny settlement positioned between Lorne & Apollo Bay, just perfect for visiting either colourful holiday location. Grey River also hosts one of Victoria's largest koala populations, so, relax on our deck, watch the sea roll in and take a good look at the koalas as they sway in your treetops.
A short stroll, wine glass or book in hand, takes you onto stunning, clean beaches and rocky outcrops. Fish, swim, walk or just dream, you will probably have the place to yourself. And your dog is welcome.

  • "Sea Oaks is a lovely place to stay. The house feels like a home and is supplied with everything you need. Our small dog loved it too - especially being permitted in the house. Grey River beach is private and special. Mobile reception is absent (no problem with that). TV reception a bit intermittent. This makes book reading and DVD's a great option. We hope to return soon. "

  • "What a beautiful house! We stayed for 5 nights and it was bliss. Couches big enough to lose ourselves in, a large deck to enjoy the sun and beautiful bush and beach surroundings. Excellent kitchen with a well stocked pantry and overall a house I'd love to come back to very soon. Thank you, Lyn & Bruce, we were sorry to have to leave!"

  • "A warm, friendly house with everything we could need for a great holiday, and our dog certainly was welcome. Great views from the wonderful large windows, and location - in winter our own private beach. We also enjoyed the environmentally sustainable practices used in the water recycling and gardens and learnt a lot from the set up here!(an added bonus) We will certainly return. "

  • "My husband, two dogs and myself had the great pleasure of staying at Sea Oaks over this weekend and Had an amazingly relaxing time. Great views, great beach walks and amazing wildlife in surrounding bush. Highly reccomend Sea Oaks as a weekender or long term holiday stay.   • "Wonderful place to stay, would recommend it, as it was close to the beach, very clean and had everything we neeeded. The only thing that would improve it would be a fence around the property, its a little close to a busy road, therefore a worry for people with pets or children. "
