A private and peaceful in town location just out of the busy CBD and only a 10 minute walk to the Green Garage organic grocer and cafe. A few minutes further and you are in the CBD.

An easy five minutes walk along the bush track through the National Park will transport you to Tallows Beach. Watch the whales pass by from the shore of this gloriously beautiful beach with the lighthouse at one end and Broken Head at the other. No crowds here. It\'s the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a relaxing care free holiday.

This charming, two bedroom villa is air conditioned with a sparkling, well equipped gourmet kitchen and modern bathroom with bathtub. Eclectic asian style with modern furnishings and timber floors in the living area. Your home away from home includes 81 cm Digital LCD TV and extensive DVD library. Attention to detail, beautiful presentation and loads of comfort. Quality cotton bed linen and Egyptian cotton bath towels are supplied.

Maximum number of guests is 2 adults and one child under 12 years. On site parking is for one car only. A trailer, boat, caravan or mobile home cannot be accommodated on site. Mandolin does not cater for schoolies.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are 5 night minimum. Maximum guests 2 adults and 1 child (under 12 years of age). Extra adult guests cannot be accommodated.
A deposit of 50% of total tariff is required on booking. The balance and $300 security deposit is due within 30 days of arrival. Any damages or extra cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit. Payments are by EFT as credit card facilities are not available.
Cancellations made outside of 30 days of arrival will be refunded. Cancellation fee $100. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival no refund on tariff.
Check in time is after 2.00 pm check out is 10.00 am sharp. Late check outs will be charged $200 unless arranged at least 24 hours prior to check out day.
Pets are not allowed at Mandolin under any circumstances. No Smoking inside please. A cleaning fee of $300 will be charged if you do. Only paying guests are to stay overnight at the property. No parties or functions of any kind are allowed and no noise audible to neighbours after 9.00 pm. Your property is your responsibility so please lock up when you go out. Mandolin is fitted with security doors and windows. When you choose to stay at Mandolin you agree to these terms and conditions.

\'The Asian style, tastefully done with your additions, from the flower arrangements to the bedding, the touches for Molly\'s room, artwork and pottery, (most of it your own I see,) was great. The courtyard with its plantings was beautiful, and when we found that we were to spend a lot of time at home due to the rain the place provided a sanctuary rather than giving us the feeling of being enclosed and stifled, and this is rare with holiday apartments....Thank you again Cheryl, we will see you in the future I am sure... \'Thanks so much Cheryl...we had a wonderful time. The place has been decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully. I also liked how in every corner of the garden and house there were little bits of artwork...it created a lovely homely feeling. The garden is just gorgeous and so green and tropical, and the cute little fish in the pond were sweet. I must say you have very good taste and style indeed, Mandolin has a really good \"feng shui\" about it. You seem to have a knack for knowing where to place things like flowers and candles. Also, being able to hear the sea from the bedroom at night was very relaxing. It was such a plus to have little things like salt, oil, other kitchen things and bathroom/washing things supplied too. That was very handy! We\'ll definitely be staying at Mandolin again some day, and we definitely won\'t hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading to Byron. Thanks so much again and all the best! For your convenience we recommend you hire a car if arriving by plane. There is so much to see and do in and around Byron and a car makes it all possible. Bike hire is another available option for getting around town.
