Welcome to Mandolin, where east meets west in an ambient fusion of peaceful relaxation and divine comfort. Chill out on the fabulous north facing deck, surrounded by palm trees and soak in the beauty and colour of the tropical courtyard garden. Drift into dreamland to the hypnotic sound of the ocean. This charming and private villa is air conditioned with timber floors in the living area. There is a sparkling, well equipped gourmet kitchen and modern bathroom with bathtub. Your home away from home includes 81 cm Digital LCD TV and very popular DVD library with something for everyone to enjoy.
Mandolin offers guests beautiful presentation and thoughtful attention to detail with quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and bath towels supplied. We provide a portacot for infants, cotton sheets and a doona. Wherever possible we use environmentally friendly and allergy free cleaning products and supply eco friendly dish washing liquid, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent.
If you love nature you will love beautiful Tallows Beach, fringed by Arakwal national park, with our famous lighthouse at one end and Broken Head with it's littoral rain forest and beautiful beaches at the other. It is an easy five minutes walk along the bush track through the national park to this sparkling stretch of coastline. Watch the whales pass by from the shore of this glorious beach. Witness the amazing sunrise and the exotic full moon rise over the most easterly beach in Australia. Great surfing, swimming and a beautiful beach for a long scenic walk. No crowds here. It's the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a relaxing care free holiday.
This private and peaceful in town location is just out of the busy CBD with a great little cafe/bakery a 3 minute walk and only 10 mins walk to The Green Garage organic green grocer and cafe. A few minutes further and you are in the CBD.
On site parking is for one car only. A trailer, boat, caravan or mobile home cannot be accommodated on site. Pets are not allowed. Mandolin does not cater for schoolies.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Bookings are 7 night minimum. A deposit of 50% of total tariff is required on booking. The balance and $300 refundable security deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payments are by EFT as credit card facilities are not available. Cancellations made outside of 30 days of arrival will be refunded. Cancellation fee $300. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival no refund. Cancellations on bookings for peak periods such as Xmas, New Year, Easter and school holidays must be made 60 days prior to arrival or deposit will be forfeited. Check in time is after 2.00 pm check out is 10.00 am sharp. Late check outs will be charged $300 unless prior arrangements have been made.
Pets are not allowed at Mandolin under any circumstances. No Smoking inside please. A cleaning fee of $300 will be charged if you do. Only registered guests are to stay overnight at the property. No parties or functions of any kind are allowed and no noise audible to neighbours after 9.00 pm. Your property is your responsibility. Mandolin is fitted with security doors and windows.

We had a wonderful time. The place has been decorated so beautifully and thoughtfully. In every corner of the garden and house there were bits of artwork. The garden is just gorgeous and so green and tropical. Mandolin has a really good "feng shui" about it. Being able to hear the sea from the bedroom at night was very relaxing. We'll definitely be staying at Mandolin again and we won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone heading to Byron. You've been absolutely lovely to deal with as well....Linda and Danny'

For your convenience we recommend you hire a car if arriving by plane. There is so much to see and do in and around Byron and a car makes it all possible. Bike hire is another available option for getting around town.
