Hillarys only 20 minutes away. AQWA makes a great outing for the kids with a touch pool so you can feel the young underwater creatures, a revolving underwater walk where you can see seals, turtles, sharks, sting rays and even have a dive with the sharks if your game enough.

Fishing/swimming only 5 minutes away at the marina or Quinns beach. Beach towels supplied for the beach goers. There is everything you need at Somerley Sunsets and plenty of local attractions to keep you busy.

1. Mindarie Marina - (5 Minute drive) to wine, dine, walk, fish and swim.

2. Hillarys Marina - (20 minute drive) to walk the many shops, souvenirs, restaurants galore, ice cream, British lolly shop, pub, water slide, trampolines, whacky golf, safe beach.

3. Joondalup - (15 minute drive/7 minute train) "Lakeside Joondalup" Shopping Centre, cinemas, banks, hotel, tavern, heaps of restaurants, Health Club - a small city in the northern districts.

4. Neil Hawkins Park Joondalup - beautiful park by Lake Joondalup with birds that eat out of your hands. The kids will love it. Swings and playground.

5. Rottnest Island - (20 minute drive to Hillarys and then ferry 45 minutes to Rottnest). This is a must see destination whilst in Perth. Fantastic island with some shops and pub, but the beaches and the little quokkas are the main attraction.

6. Kings Park, Perth - (30 minute drive) to view all of Perth from the highest viewing point in Perth. Views across the Swan River and amazing gardens.

7. Fremantle - (45 minute drive) Atmosphere and Restaurants galore. Cappuccino strip and known for its markets and food. Try Cicerellos Seafood restaurant - for delicious seafood, tours of the Old Gaol, Tram rides.

8. The Swan Valley - (40 minute drive) has local wineries, several micro breweries, chocolate factory, beautiful countryside, restaurants.

9. Wanneroo Botanical Golf - (15 minute drive) Beautifully maintained green gardens and winding paths. Also has "put-put" for young and old with a twist of "snooker put-put" for those who are keen. Restaurant and barbecue facilities.
