The Hotel (featured on SYDNEY WEEKENDER & THE GREAT OUTDOORS ) is situated in the breathtaking Capertee Valley, 3 hours from Sydney on the tourist route to Mudgee. The Hotel was Fox Studios' official accommodation selection for the 'AUSTRALIA" the movie promotional release campaign and features in the recent 2011 Great Australian Historic Hotels book by Barry Stone. Each of our 17 guest rooms enjoy majestic views of the escarpments and the tranquil atmosphere of the valley provides the perfect setting for your groups' stay.
The property features a 20m salt water swimming pool with views second to none, olympic size trampoline, pool table and numerous verandahs to lie back & take in the scenery.

Guests can step back in time with a guided tour of the abandoned mine & ghost town. The valley is also reknowned internationally for rare & endangered birdlife. There are numerous bushwalks and within close proximity is canoeing, horseriding, golf and the Historic town of Rylstone. We can also arrange day trip tours to the Mudgee vineyards.
