SPENCER COTTAGE is fully self contained, & booked on an exclusive basis. Before you arrive, the house is opened, ready for you to simply kick back & relax

CHILDREN over 5, at parents discretion & by prior arrangement only

PETS- only by prior arrangement ( best suited to quiet, sleepy dogs ) Any damage or mess will be charged for. We strongly recommend you take tick precautions, especially in summer.

HIRE OF SELF DRIVE BOAT not suitable

OWN BOAT trailer boat can be launched at the adjoining Mellaluca Caravan Park ( small fee applies ). Call for more details


TRAVEL
By car travel north from Sydney on the Highway 1 & F3 Freeway to Calga Interchange travelling to Central Mangrove , & then take Wisemans Ferry Rd to Spencer

The return journey can then be taken in the opposite direction to Wisemans Ferry & the Old Northern Rd via Dural & Pennant Hills.

The journey in both directions is particularly scenic

Spencer Village Store; Settlers Arms- St Albans & Wisemans Ferry Inn are just a few options for great food in the Spencer region.
Weekends Sept till July you can combine a scenic 12km boat journey with a long lunch at the legendary Peats Bite Restaurant . Boat & Table Bookings In Advance Essential

WHAT TO DO
. On the edge of the adjoining wetland, the boardwalk leads to Breakfast Creek, the ideal place to drop a line over for that elusive fish
. Explore the river on the two surf kayaks stored next to the board walk
. Have a game or two of table tennis
. It is just a short distance by car to the start of several bush walks that lead in to Dharug National Park.
. Tour the Sydney hinterland & take a round trip through St Albans & Bucketty, incorporating lunch at the Settlers Arms Pub in St Albans. Maps are available at the cottage with day tours already highlighted
. The Spencer Store has a great breakfast/ lunch menu for those wanting to cook as little as possible.
. For a special occasion you may wish to discuss a boat trip to Peats Bite Restaurant
. Book a round of golf at the Mangrove Mountain Golf Club - 9 holes of 'rugged terrain'
