Wollemi Wilderness Retreat is set amid the ancient beauty of World Heritage listed Wollemi Wilderness National Park, just 110km west of Sydney in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. The area hasn't changed since the last ice age and is yours to explore or just sit back and enjoy the view over thousands of hectares of prehistoric land with echidnas and lyrebirds your only neighbours.
Wollemi Wilderness Retreat has three cabins and a house, all eco-friendly designs in harmony with nature, for people who want comfort off the grid. Awaken to the currawong singing as the sun rises, relax on the verandah or take a hike and return to spa bath and a cozy evening around the fireplace.
Wollemi Wilderness Cabin won 'Excellence in Housing' awards for best environmental dwelling. It is made completely of Australian native timbers and contains the latest solar and waste recycling technology. The dwelling showcases how we can live in harmony with one of the oldest and most fragile landscapes on earth.
Choose between the Wollemi House (sleeps up to 8 people), two bedroom Wollemi Cabin, three bedroom Valley Ridge Road House and the one bedroom Love Cabin.
