Thornton Beach House

Thornton Beach is Daintree's best kept secret, just 10 minutes south of the visitor hub of Cape Tribulation and 20 minutes north of the Daintree River. Thornton Beach House is nestled between the Coral Sea and the Daintree World Heritage National Park. It is the only holiday accommodation at Thornton Beach and is just a 20 metre stroll to the beach. It's a fully screened, open plan house and with tiles throughout, it gives the house a cool spacious feel. It is well situated, being centrally located to both Cape Tribulation and Cow Bay, with their restaurants, bars, boardwalks and fresh water creeks for swimming.

There are several tours in the area, including night and day guided rainforest walks, 1/2 day and 2 day sea kayaking tours, horseriding, jungle surfing through the rainforest canopy, exotic fruit tasting, Great Barrier Reef tours, fishing tours, crocodile spotting tours and the list goes on.
