Darwin's SkyCity Casino, Yacht Club, Trailer Boat Club, Old Fannie Bay Jail Museum, Gardens Golf Club & Darwin's Historical Museum are all close by. Darwin City, the Cinema, Pubs, Clubs & Restaurants are a short 5 minutes by car. The Wharf Precinct is a great spot for an inexpensive meal out. Adventure

Venture out of town to Litchfield National Park & the Falls. The Wild Life Park & some of the local swimming holes make a great day out. Manton Dam is the local ski lake. Kakadu National Park is about a three hour drive away with plenty of wetlands to view on the way. Take a Jumping Crocs Cruise while passing through the wetlands. Adelaide River War Cemetery & Memorial are about one and a half hours away. Canoe down the Katherine Gorges. Take a day fishing charter for a fishing experience you will never forget. Visit Crab Claw Island Fishermans Village & experience the quiet wilderness while fishing & mud crabbing. Darwin has a lot to offer the adventure seeker or for those who just simply want to relax. There is lots of World War II history in Darwin & plenty of places to view it.
