Set on an elevated quarter acre block, with stunning views of Mt Cootha and the University of Queensland, this unique property is ideal accommodation for families wanting to enjoy the comforts of a house with the convenience of an apartment.
Conveniently located on the edge of the CBD, the home features original art work, contemporary and antique furnishings, cathedral ceilings, over 22 squares on two levels, a peaceful, private garden and is minutes to everything....just perfect....
Architect designed and built almost twenty years ago by a master builder as his own home, it retains a character and space rarely found in its modern counterparts.
The Layout:-
TOP FLOOR comprises a huge open plan living/dining area; master bedroom, ensuite and walk-in-robe; kitchen; and verandah with electric barbeque. All these rooms have lovely views to the University and Mt Cootha.
GROUND FLOOR comprises a slate entry area; two bedrooms with garden outlook and built-in robes; main bathroom; separate laundry; and double lock up garage with internal access.
THE GARDEN is very private with a gas barbeque; table setting for six; prolific macadamia tree; herb garden; clothesline; and carport for any extra cars.
The home is child friendly but not child proof. There is a built-in baby gate at the top of the internal staircase.
We hope you will enjoy the comforts of our home, the views, and treat it as your home away from home.
Dogs will be accepted but only by prior arrangement and will require an extra charge of $30 to allow for extra cleaning. You would be asked to accept responsibility for any damage to furniture or property by your pet.
The property is a quiet, private home and not a party house. Guests other than those staying overnight may only be allowed by prior arrangement. This is to avoid any undue disruption to the neighbourhood. If this is abused you may be charged a fee.
Cancellation policy is, full refund of deposit up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, after that deposit may be forfeited if we are unable to relet the property.
The property can accommodate six people but not more than five adults.

We stayed during October which had the worst weather Brisbane has had for ten years. That said our spirits were not dampened due to this fantastic house. Very cosy and relaxing with fantastic views from the veranda. Easy access to the city centre, and the supermarket, pub and take away all with in a few minutes walk. We would definitely use this property again and would recommend it to others.

Our family recently spent just over a week in this
home and it was perfect! It was just as described and
we could not have been happier.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property. It is a real home from home, and was exceptionally comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is exactly as described on the \"xxxxx\" website. The views from dining terrace are terrific by day and night.
The booking and payment arrangements were very efficient. The owners were really helpful throughout this process and when we were actually in Brisbane.
The property is a good base for getting around Brisbane and beyond. South Bank can be reached by car in a few minutes, with Annerley Road more or less leading directly to the area. From South Bank, it is just a few minutes more to the City centre.
The property also offers other transport options. It is a short (10 to 15 minute) walk from two railway stations, giving direct access to Park Road, South Bank, Central and Fortitude Valley stations. The University of Queensland, with its City Cat pier and services to the City centre, is also reachable on foot. This takes about 25 minutes but includes an interesting walk across a new pedestrian bridge across the river. I mention these options as public transport in Brisbane is safe, efficient and good value, whereas parking in South Bank and the centre can sometimes be both a hassle and expensive.
Annerley has several fast food outlets and a few budget restaurants (pasta, Thai, Indian), which can be reached in minutes from the property. However, with dozens more eating options in nearby South Bank and Park Road, eating out local to the property is probably something to be done only if speed and convenience are the prime considerations. In this regard, there is pub in Annerley Road (The Muddy Farmer) which, while again not really up to the standard of what can be found in the centre, is perfectly adequate for a cold beer and reasonable quality pub grub.
There is a good quality Coles supermarket and a small shopping centre a few minutes by car from the property at Fairfield. There are also a few shops on Ipswich Road within walking distance, including a Woolworths food store (but this has a smaller range than Coles).

We stayed in this lovely townhouse for a week. We really enjoyed the privacy while having easy access to the CBD, Southbank and the motorway to the Gold Coast. The terrace is a birdwatcher\'s paradise. The home is very well kept and comfortable with everything you could need - we could have stayed a month!

Annerley Mews was just so spot on. I would definitely stay @
Annerley Mews again and recommend it - your inside
area was so much better in real life.
The key system was a ripper.
Most people were surprised that we had
chosen Annerley as our base - we found it so central - ...
The other highlight for us was the room configuration as my parents were upstairs and we were downstairs with the boys - it all worked so well.
